Orville J. Ramthun
Orville Ramthun, 93, of Watertown, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Oconomowoc Hospital following a brief illness.
Orville Ramthun was born to Herman and Emma (Wachs) Ramthun March 24, 1926, in the family farmhouse in Eden.
Orville married Lois Droz in Watertown on July 25, 1987. Orville farmed in Johnson Creek and was a proud truck driver and Teamsters Union member. He was a longtime driver for Schweiger Industries in Jefferson and retired from driving at Carnation in Oconomowoc.
Orville is survived by his five children, Sandra (Richard) Wright, Huntertown, IN; Gary (Dedra) Ramthun, Johnson Creek; Dan (Karen) Ramthun, Watertown; David (Peggy) Ramthun, Palmyra, MO; and Terry Pender, Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his wife Lois, his parents, son Larry, granddaughter Jasmine and brother Norbert Ramthun.
A funeral service will be Thursday, July 25, at 1 p.m. at Twohig Funeral Home in Campbellsport, with internment at Union Cemetery in Campbellsport following the service. A private family viewing was held prior to cremation.
