Gerald Bender, 72, of Grand Marsh, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at Mound View Memorial Hospital in Friendship.
Gerald was born July 22, 1947, in Beaver Dam, the son of Harland and Ethel (Schultz) Bender. He grew up in Mayville, and later moved to Iron Ridge. In 2001, he moved closer to his brother in Grand Marsh.
Gerald is survived by his sons, Carl and Allen; and brothers, Lloyd, Harland, Gene, Gary and Tim.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Wayne, Bob, and Kenny; and sisters, Sharon, Ellen, Carol, Sheila and Esther.
Visitation was held on Monday, Aug. 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Memorial funeral services were held Monday, August 26, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Matt Gehrke officiating.
