Lomira public schools will reopen to students returning to face-to-face learning, or if they choose, virtual learning this fall. The first day of school is set for Tuesday, Sept. 1.On Wednesday, Aug. 12, the School District of Lomira Board of Education voted 8-1 approving a comprehensive reopening plan. Treasurer Thomas Jaster opposed the plan, saying he knows that the district must have in-person instruction; however, he could not personally accept any plan that was not a virtual start to the school year.
