Roger R. Gindt

Roger R. Gindt, 77, of Mayville entered the Kingdom of Heaven on December 23, 2020 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on November 13, 1943 in Milwaukee, the son of Ralph and Alice (Bauer) Gindt. Roger was a 1961 graduate of Mayville High School and served his country honorably in the US Army.
On July 24, 1981, he was united in marriage to Sharon Miller. He was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mayville. Roger had been employed at Gehls Company in West Bend, where he worked most of his life. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading the newspaper, playing cards, and loved riding his scooter all over Mayville.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Sharon; his children Kris (Steve) Armstrong, Duane (special friend Kacy) Miller, Bryan (Laurie) Miller, and Jodi (Pat) Rohloff; his grandchildren Paige (Brandon) Andreasen, Logan Miller, Trina Kannegarrd, Karly Miller, Eric (Marissa) Armstrong, Kevin Armstrong, Stephanie Armstrong, and Andy Armstrong; three great grandchildren; his sister Shirley (Mike) Mangan; two brothers Kenny Gindt and Gary (Cindy) Gindt; his niece Dawn (Mike) Heeringa and his nephew Lee (Darlene) Mangan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Harley.
A private family funeral for Roger will be held with the Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack presiding.
