Theresa Clara Loest

Theresa Clara Loest, 70, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on August 13, 2021. She was born on July 9, 1951, to Richard and Mary Annie (Comeau) Anstedt in Milwaukee. Theresa moved to Mayville, in 1975 where she met Jerry Loest. Theresa and Jerry were married at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on June 19, 1976, in Mayville. Theresa worked at several factory jobs while she lived in Mayville.

In 1997, Theresa and Jerry moved to Phoenix, AZ, where she worked retail until she retired.

Theresa loved to play bingo and gamble in the Phoenix area and Laughlin, NV. She enjoyed bowling and joined several leagues while she lived in Mayville. Theresa loved to listen to music (especially anything from the 50’s or 60’s and anything by Elvis), line dancing, rock and roll dancing at the Sun City, AZ clubs, watching movies, and taking her grandkids to the movies.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Jerry Loest of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Jeanette (Loest) Ciccone (John) of Chesapeake Beach, MD; son, Timothy Loest of Phoenix, AZ; mother-in-law, Dorothy Loest of Mayville; five brothers, two sisters, two sisters-inlaw, two brothers-in-law, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary Annie (Comeau) Anstedt; and her father-in-law Ruben Loest.

A combined celebration of life will be held at a later date for Theresa and her son, Timothy.
