Kenneth Lawrence Wiedmeyer

Kenneth Lawrence Wiedmeyer, 76, of Ixonia, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville.
Ken was born the son of Harold and Florence (Steger) Wiedmeyer on March 12, 1948, in Theresa. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Alaska. Ken was united in marriage to Joan Seiler on August 16, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon, where he also was a member.
Ken worked for many years for the Iron Ridge Department of Public Works. He was a member of the Theresa American Legion Post #270. Ken had a great love for farming and shared that love with his grandchildren.  They often helped him bail hay and went fishing together.  Ken enjoyed being outdoors bow and gun hunting for deer and turkey hunting.
Ken will be missed by his loving wife, Joan; children, Craig (special friend Pamela) Wiedmeyer, Corey Wiedmeyer, and Rickey Wiedmeyer; step-children, Christine Kruwell, Patricia (Phil) Hensler, Susan Morris, Julie (Scott) Klumb, and Norbert (Robin) Schickert; five grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and twelve step-great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Marie) Wiedmeyer, Larry Wiedmeyer, Debbie Mazza, Marty (Peggy) Wiedmeyer, and Leon (Aly) Wiedmeyer. Ken is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Pat, Phyliss, Wally, Shirley, and Fred.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon with Rev. Fr. Mark Brandl presiding. A visitation for Kenneth took place at church on Wednesday, Sept. 18, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Graveside Military Honors were conducted by the Theresa American Legion Post #270 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon.
