Jerome Julis Bilgrien

Jerome Julis Bilgrien, 93, of Hustisford, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, at Angel’s Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc with his son by his side.
A graveside funeral service for Jerome was held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery in Iron Ridge with Rev. Larry Mose officiating.
Jerome was born on October 30, 1931, to Harry and Viola (Ringle) Bilgrien. He was united in marriage to Jean A. Roggenbauer on June 9, 1956, in Dubuque, IA.
Jerome graduated from Mayville High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Jerome worked for Mayville Engineering Company for 30 years.
Jerome was a faithful member of St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.
Jerome is survived by his son, Brian Bilgrien, and brother, Donald (Geralyn) Bilgrien. Jerome is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean, in 2005; and his brother, Waldemar Bilgrien.
