Gene “Geno” Korth, 66, of Iron Ridge passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at his home with his loving wife by his side. Gene was born the son of Fred and Gertrude (Hagert) Korth on January 5, 1955, in Milwaukee. He was married to Diane L. Koepsell on July 13, 1985, at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon. Gene retired from Associate Engineering in Hustisford. Gene was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Browns Corner. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a member of the Sinissippi Trail Hawks Snowmobile Club and the Horicon Marsh Snowmobile Club. Gene also enjoyed camping at Castle Rock County Park in Adams. Gene is survived by his wife, Diane of Iron Ridge; sisters, Carrie (Glenn) Bartsch and Jackie (Pat) Finn; sister-in-law, Phyllis Ewert; brothers-in-law, Larry (Lois) Koepsell and Melvin Hundt; nieces and nephews, John (Melissa) Gutierrez, Jenny Hoff, Sean (Alegandra) Finn, Christopher (Becky) Finn, Sarah (Eric) Mora, Shannon (Peter) Mural, Cheryl (Dennis) Bergmann, Linda (David) Miller, Brenda (Ryan) Nehls, Karen (Todd) Rosenthal, Daryl (Debbie) Hundt, Terry (Dawn) Hundt, Julie (Bill) Luehring, Rhonda Hundt, Janet (Jamie) Boehlke, and Jeff Bartsch; great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law; brother-in-law, Lester Ewert; sister-in-law, Louine Hundt; and nephew, Chip Bartsch. A private celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon. Rev. Jonathan Szczesny will officiate. Renoda Louise (Budahn) Dogs was born February 19, 1940, in the Town of Theresa. She was the daughter of Martin and Recella (Justman) Budahn. She was received into the kingdom of God by holy baptism on March 10, 1940, at Zion Lutheran Church, Theresa, by the Reverend Herman Cares. She was confirmed in the faith on March 29, 1953, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hartford. Her confirmation verse gave her comfort throughout her life: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose - Romans 8:28. On July 25, 1959, Renoda was united in marriage to Clifford E. Dogs in a ceremony conducted by the Reverend Walter Reinemann at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hartford. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Cliff and Renoda ran a dairy farm together in the Town of Theresa for much of their married life. Renoda also worked for several doctors and dentists in Theresa and Hartford. She enjoyed greeting patients, arranging schedules, organizing the offices and assisting as needed. Renoda was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving on the Altar Guild and in the Trinity Ladies Society. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, gardening, crocheting, and lovingly spent time taking care of her husband and family. Renoda and Cliff spent 21 winters at their second home in North Fort Meyers, FL, vacationing with friends and family. Renoda was thankful to be able to move into her new home in December, which enabled her to stay at home with her family until she passed away, following her long battle with cancer. Renoda is survived by Clifford, her husband of 61 years; and three children, Larry (Noreen) of Theresa, Lori (Randel) Fink of Muskego, and Holly (Edward) Judt of Pleasant Prairie; two sisters, Ruth Siegmann of Rubicon and Rachel (Steven) Steger of Hartford; brothers and sisters-in-law, Florence (Melvin) Teske of Yakima, WA, Eugenie (Earl) Hildebrandt of Mayville, Norbert (Doris) Dogs of Kenosha, and Gary (Deborah) Dawes of Grand Junction, CO; thirteen grandchildren, Daniel (Alyssa) Dogs, Sarah (Joshua) Bender, Michael (Katherine) Dogs, Katherine (Nicholas) Ertmer, Jonathan (Emily) Fink, Joshua (Jessica) Fink, Andrew Fink, Elizabeth Fink, Michael (Kari) Judt, Matthew (Rachel) Judt, Thomas Judt, Katherine Judt and Joseph Judt; thirteen great-grandchildren, William, Benjamin, Samuel, Sophia, Jackson, Frederick, Wilhelmina, Orie, Adeline, Noa, Harper, Emery, and Bodhan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Renoda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rosa; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Siegmann. A private family funeral will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiated by the Reverend Jeffery Drake. Kuen, 66, of Lomira passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du lac. He was born on January 21, 1955, to Clarence and Delores (Lettau) Kuen in Waupun. Doug graduated from Lomira High School. On June 8, 1974, he was united in marriage to Chris Unferth at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira. Doug worked as an assembler at John Deere for over 30 years until his retirement in 2016. He loved long weekends spent at the family cottage on Legend Lake where he went boating, jet skiing and fishing. He especially enjoyed this time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. Doug also enjoyed four-wheeling, golfing, deer hunting, cribbage and sheeps-head. He and Chris loved traveling together and visited many different states and countries over the years. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Those Doug leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Chris Kuen; two children, Todd (Kim) Kuen and Jill (Jim) Margelowsky; five grandchildren, Harlow and Monroe Kuen, and Brandon, Jared, and Stephanie Margelowsky; a sister, Nancy (Dewey) Stevens; two brothers, Gary (Judy) Kuen and Chuck (Sue) Kuen; his mother-in-law, Doreen Unferth; four sisters-in-law, Sandy (Rich) Zitlow, Tari (Ric) Bloohm, Becky (Jeff) Luedtke, and Lori (Mark) Immel; two brothers-in-law, Jeff (Elaine) Unferth and Steve (Amy) Unferth; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Don Unferth.
