Nancy was born January 8, 1945, in Hartford, to Fern B. (Werner) and George J. Kress. She was united in marriage to John “Jack” T. Schoebel on May 14, 1966, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford. Nancy enjoyed reading, puzzles, girl’s outings and trips with her daughters and granddaughter, card luncheons and gambling with friends, and most of all time spent with her family. Nancy is survived by her loving children, Kim (Craig) Hahn of Germantown, Kelly Schoebel of Theresa, and Kerri (Philip)Frey of Johnson Creek, and extended family Kris Watry of Horicon; cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Collin, Lauren Hahn, and Josie Frey; siblings, Karen Madell of Hartford, Kaye (Harold) Schladweiler of Kewaskum; and sisters-in-law, Patricia Hoerth of Hartford, Mary (Bob) Aufdermauer of Allenton, and Sue Kress of Tomahawk. She is further survived by loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Jack; loving son, Kurt R. Schoebel; parents; parents-in-law, Marie (Beine) and Ralph Schoebel; brother, George Kress; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Hoerth, Richard Madell, and David Ziegelbauer. Wayne D. Lindert, 79, of Horicon, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam. Wayne was born the son of Otto and Lena (Luebke) Lindert on August 18, 1941. Wayne was a 1959 graduate of Horicon High School. He farmed alongside his family for many years and then was a custodian until retirement at Hustisford High School. Wayne was a lifetime member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville faithfully serving as a past elder and usher. In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of his lawn and also enjoyed baking. Wayne will he fondly remember as a hard worker who often put others before himself. Wayne is survived by his nieces, Judy (Robert) Rassman and Sherry (Peter) Gebauer, both of Horicon; further survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucille Lindert, Ethel Getzman, Helen Hackbarth, and Verona Knueppel; and his brother, Marvin Lindert. Eilbes, 56, of LeRoy passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021. Warren was born the son of Edward and Mary Ann (Tomala) Eilbes on May 13, 1964, in Waupun. Warren was a 1982 graduate of Mayville High School. He had worked for over 20 years at Maysteel in Allenton. Warren was currently employed at Metalcraft in Mayville. Warren’s faith in God was important to him and he was a faithful member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy In his spare time, Warren loved to garden and cook. He also loved taking dance classes. Warren was a natural caretaker for others as well, especially for his mother after she had suffered a stroke. Warren will be fondly remembered for his kind heart, his humor, and his willingness to put others before himself. She was born on July 14, 1957, in Hartford, a daughter of Clarence and Virginia (Musack) Wendorff. She married Rick Alexander, Sr. on March 30, 1991, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge. Cheryl was raised in Iron Ridge and settled in Antigo. She was a certified nursing assistant. She was a member of Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church in Antigo, where she was an organist and sang in the choir. Cheryl enjoyed fishing, camping, ceramics and crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Rick; five children, Shelly Powers (Dirk Carlson) of Baraboo, Steven Alexander of New London, Ricky (Amanda) Alexander Jr. of Minot, ND, Tonya Alexander of Antigo and Ryan (Sydney) Alexander of Surrey, ND; five grandchildren, Bentley Carlson, Emily Alexander, Rowen and Luca Alexander, and Ryder Alexander; her mother, Virginia Wendorff; six brothers, Clarence Wendorff, Jr., Don (Carolyn) Wendorff, Gary (Marion) Wendorff, Gene (Kathi) Wendorff, Terry (Laura) Wendorff, Scott (Jaclyn) Wendorff; two sisters, Lynn (David) Riese and Robin (Jeffery) Carter; two brothers-in-law, Brian (Ann) Tunak, Gary (Susan) Alexander; three sisters-in-law, Michelle Wendorff, Carmel Wendorff and Sandy Alexander. Mary Lou Oechsner, 91, joined our Lord and Savior on January 4, 2021 at her home. Mary Lou was born on March 19, 1929, in Beaver Dam, to John and Agnes (Thiede) Weber. She attended St. Pete’s Catholic School, where she was baptized, confirmed and later married. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School with the class of 1946. During her senior year of high school, she worked part-time at the 5 and Dime Store. After graduation, she worked full-time at Phoenix Hosery in Beaver Dam until marriage. On April 23, 1949, she married Francis Oechsner at St. Pete’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. They settled and made Horicon their home. She was a receptionist, secretary and book-keeper for many of the businesses that she and Francis started throughout the years. She was also a full-time mother of nine children. And to some of their friends, she was known as “MOO”. Mary Lou was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Parish, Horicon. She was a woman of strong Christian faith. She lived a full life with family and church being the center of it. She was the most sweet, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Mimi). Her world revolved happily around them all. She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, casino trips, gardening, watching the Packer games on TV (attended the Ice Bowl) and watching the kids sporting/school events. But most of all, her true love was spending time with her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday and her entire family will always cherish the memories “Grandma, Grandma, Grandma” Mary Lou is survived by her nine children, Cisco (Sallie) Oechsner of Burnett, Mike (Sherry) Oechsner of Waupun, Shirley Stanul of Mauston, Pete (Susan) Oechsner of Horicon, Dan (Susan) Oechsner of Waupun, Sharon (Wayne Martin) Oechsner of Horicon, Sheila (Donald) Davidson of Horicon, Shelley Cundy of Horicon and Barry Oechsner of Horicon; her 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, John Weber, Ted Weber, Barb Schwarze and Aggie Frederiksen; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her loving husband; her parents; granddaughters, Michele Boyland and Amber Oechsner; brothers and sisters, Jim Weber, Paul Weber, Al Weber and Elaine Schultz; brothers- and sisters-in-law.
