Carol Marie Baudry

Carol Marie Baudry, 90, of Eden peacefully left this earth and joined her heavenly home May 24, 2024, at Woodlands Senior Park, Fond du Lac. She was born in Oshkosh on December 23, 1933, daughter of Carl and Margaret (Dehorn) Fenrich. After graduating from Oshkosh High School, Carol went on to become a radiology technician, working several years at Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh. It was at an Oshkosh Eagles dance that Carol met the love of her life, LeRoy, and they later married on June 14, 1958. Carol moved to LeRoy’s family farm near Eden and adapted from life of the city to the country over the next 35 years. Carol worked by LeRoy’s side, pitching in with day-to-day chores and challenges of their dairy farm, while being a steadfast mother to five children. Carol was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Parish, Eden, and volunteered regularly for parish dinners and cleaning church for many years. Carol and LeRoy believed in Catholic Education and were devoted to assuring their children attained this. She also managed to maintain jobs outside of the home, driving school bus, cleaning houses, and bookkeeper. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and adored spending time with family never forgetting birthdays. She was an exceptional cook and liked cardinals, planting flowers, doing various crafts, quilting, ceramics, collecting bells and snowmen. In 1993, it was time for Carol and LeRoy to step away from the farm and they moved to the Village of Eden, where they settled for 31 years. Carol continued volunteering as well as helping LeRoy with a huge garden, while performing many projects around their house. Carol will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 66 years, LeRoy; five children, Cindy (Gary) Krug of Oshkosh, Mary (Bob) Lyon of Oshkosh, JoAnn (Jim) Tart of Neenah, Tony Baudry of Fond du Lac, Renee (Mark) Wollersheim of Brownsville; eight grandchildren Jon (Bekka) Krug, Justin Krug, Nicole Roccas, Matt (Christina) Lyon, Sean Lyon, Jeff Baudry, Collin Wollersheim, Elle Wollersheim; and five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Patricia Fenrich, Rosemary (Jerry) Dettlaff; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sue (Patrick) Cudahy; brother, David Fenrich; sisters-in-law, Georgene (Gerard) Clair, Sr. Ruth Ann Baudry; brother-in-law, Alden (Arlene) Baudry; niece, Sharon Baudry. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to SSM St Agnes Hospital, Edenbrook Rehab, SSM Hospice, and Woodlands Senior Park. Gwendolyn M. Wilson

Gwendolyn M. Wilson

Gwendolyn M. “Gwen” Wilson (nee Schellinger) passed peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the age of 78, at the Kathy Hospice. She was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Jerome and Caroline (nee Bremser) Schellinger- Mueller. Gwen graduated from Hartford High School in 1964. She married David T. Wilson on August 14, 1965. Gwen worked for B.C. Ziegler for over 40 years as she rose to Vice President in sales. She and David were members of the Snow Chiefs Snowmobile Club in Kewaskum, and an ATV Club in Maiden Lake. Loved going to classic car shows around Wisconsin, and she was a member of the Lioness Club of Oconto Co. and a volunteer at the Christian Thrift Store in Wabeno. Gwen is survived by her children, Wendi Haubrich, Debbie (Doug) Karlin, and Joy Wilson; grandchildren, Troy (Fiancé, Amber), Asher, Timothy, Bri, Prairie, and Caroline (Fiancé, Tyler); great-grandson, Sawyer David Wilson; siblings, Jerome (Kathy), Charles (the late Marjorie) Schellinger, Judy (Joseph) Pieper, and James (Janet) Schellinger. She is further survived by sister-in-law, Cherie Schellinger; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; brother, Mark Schellinger; and stepfather, Leo Mueller. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., with the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m., at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Parish, 406 Jefferson St., West Bend, WI 53090. Fr. Kevin Harmon will officiate. The burial will follow at Washington County Memorial Park. David Ralph Hofmaier

David Ralph Hofmaier, 57, of Kewaskum, passed away peacefully May 25, 2024, after a courageous battle against cancer. David was born on November 19, 1966, to Merle and Esther Hofmaier in West Bend. He graduated from Slinger High School in 1986. On May 1, 1993, he married Michele M. Becker at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. He had a passion for farming that was nurtured by working his grandpa’s farm and continued throughout his life, both with his home garden and his work at Beck Dairy Farms. In his early years, he also worked in construction which gave him the tools to build his family home where he raised his three children. He ended his career at Milwaukee Tool in West Bend. Always an incredibly hard worker, David never hesitated to lend a hand and use his God-given talents to help other people whenever he could. He was a kind-hearted person who demonstrated dedication and resilience throughout his life. Always the silent supporter, he was ready to jump in at any moment to help overcome any challenges. He taught us what it means to show up for those around you and to persevere through life’s difficulties. Being a devoted Catholic helped guide and strengthen him throughout his life. David was an avid sports fan, enjoying bowling, golf and baseball. He was a fan of the Brewers, Packers and Bucks; treasuring March Madness with his kids, nieces and nephews. He passed his love of sports onto his children and supported them by coaching several of their teams throughout their childhood. David leaves behind a family who’s proud to call him husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Michele Hofmaier (Becker), and children Erik, Sara and Amber Hofmaier; his mother, Esther Hofmaier (Breuer); sisters, Karen Hofmaier, Carol (Rick) Young, Debra (Randy) Eller. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Charlotte Becker; father-in-law, Michael Becker; sister-in-law, Sherry Becker; and brothers-in-law, Paul (Jenny) Becker and Jim (Susie) Becker; nieces and nephews, Justin, Annika, Jayden, Alyssa, Jack, Megan, Emily, Tyler, Elizabeth, and Mason; and other family and friends with special mention to Joanne and Edward Mahacek, Mike Beck, the Whitewater Gang, and his friends and coworkers at Milwaukee Tool. Proceeded in death by his father, Merle Hofmaier; and nieces, Cassie and Shelby Becker. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (331 Main St., Kewaskum, WI 53040), with Father Patrick Magnor officiating. Interment will take place immediately after the ceremony at Holy Trinity Cemetery (State Hwy 28 West, Kewaskum, Wisconsin). Vicky L. Shadley

   Vicky Lynn Shadley (nee Wibright), 65, of Horicon, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the Center for Advanced Care at Froedtert Hospital.   Vicky was born the daughter of Lester and Revel (McIntosh) Wibright on June 14, 1958 in Lima, OH. She was a graduate of Upper Scioto Valley in McGuffey, OH.   Vicky was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, David Shadley, on September 2, 1978 in Alger, OH.   She was a staffing support specialist for Manpower for over 20 years.   Vicky was a member of the Horicon United Methodist Church, member of the Horicon Jaycees, and the Horicon Booster Club.   Vicky enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren traveling to Ohio and spending time with them at the Wisconsin Dells. Her grandchildren will always remember her as GiGi. She was a supportive coach’s wife for 25 years and was her family’s biggest fan. She loved her Jaycee family, especially her best friends Jackie, Mary, Penny, and Christa. She made lasting memories with her family and friends on their Vegas trips. Vicky loved being social and brought laughter and joy to all the lives she touched.Vicky is survived by her husband, David, of Horicon; her daughters, Erica (Todd) Madison and Stephanie (Philip) Krueger; her grandchildren, Colton, Ashlyn, Anna, Aubrey, Alyssa, Laytin, Scarlett, and Emmett; her siblings, James (Sheran) Wibright, Rick (Linda) Wibright, Donna Hedges, LaVonna (Dwayne) Stout, and Connie (Doug) Crawford; her brother-in-law, Dan (Janet) Shadley; her sister-in-law, Patti (Mike) Vollmar; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.   She was preceded in death by parents; her in-laws, Ralph and Anna Mae Shadley; and sister-in-law, Liana Ussery.   A memorial service for Vicky will be held on Thursday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Horicon with Pastor Renae Dymond officiating. A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Preston Cemetery in Alger, OH. David Allen Domasky

David (Dave) Allen Domasky passed away peacefully at Kettle Moraine Gardens, where he was a resident for seven months, on the morning of Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was born in Chicago, IL, on June 27, 1939, to Alice Domenosky. He spent the early years with relatives in Chicago before moving to the Town of Farmington by his mother and her husband, Lee Fickler. Dave graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1957. A high school highlight was being a member of the Valley Tri-County Conference championship basketball team, the 1955-1956 season. In July 1957, Dave entered the Air Force and was stationed in Lincoln, NE. He worked on B-47s in Lincoln and learned to play golf. After the Air Force, Dave got into computer programming. He worked in Texas for 6 years before moving back to Wisconsin. Dave met Marlene Steinhardt at a camping trip for single parents. The two were united in marriage on June 23, 1973, and combined their lives into a blended family of 10. They made their home together in the Town of Farmington. He owned a landscaping business for many years before going back to computer programming. He was a consultant for various companies before retiring in 2001. He coached pony league baseball teams for Boltonville for several years. He enjoyed spending winters with Marlene at La Hacienda Resort in Apache Junction, AZ, where he filled his days playing golf, bocce ball, shuffleboard and volleyball. Dave even got a hole-in-one while golfing out there! Dave enjoyed golf, gardening, and traveling, in that order. He passed those joys on to his children, but alas, not his green thumb. David is survived by children, Scott (Janine) Prost-Domasky, Mark (Tami) Domasky, Mark (Mary) Steinhardt, Cindy (Mark) Schaefer, Bruce (Donna) Steinhardt, Jeff (Cindy) Steinhardt, Mike Steinhardt. He is further survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Karen (John) Staehler and Beverly (Niles) Heise; brother, Bob Fickler; brother-in-law, Bob Wenzlaff; and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; daughter-in-law, Kara Domasky; daughter, Christine Gagnon; and his sister, Barbara Wenzlaff. Dave’s family will greet relatives and friends from 12 to 1:45 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Peace United Church of Christ, 343 First Street, Kewaskum, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Eric Kirkegaard officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at Kettle Moraine Gardens for their care and compassion during Dave’s stay with them. Kathryn A. Mueller

Kathryn A. Mueller, 87, of Kewaskum went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital with her loving family gathered with her. She was born on April 28, 1937, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Henry and Anita (Struebing) Kraemer. On April 28, 1956, Kathryn was united in marriage to the love of her life, Harold E. Mueller, at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport. Kathryn was a graduate of Campbellsport High School and did the bookkeeping for her husband’s business, Mueller Excavating. She was an enthusiastic homemaker, loved to cook (making her own cookbook), and proudly raising her family. Kathryn enjoyed time with family, crocheting, crafting, and floral arranging. She and Harold enjoyed traveling, spending many winters in Arizona. Survivors include her beloved husband, Harold; children, Nicholas (Patti) Mueller, Mary Jo (Chris) Greene, Thomas (Lynne) Mueller, Scott (Peter) Mueller, and Steven (Renee) Mueller; dear friend of the family, Karen Van Beek; grandchildren, Daniel (Kimberly) Mueller, Nathan Mueller, Michael Mueller, Dustin (Robin) Mueller, Sarah (John) Polkowski, and Kaitlin (Jacob) Timblin; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Griffin, and Emma Mueller, Rory and Logan Mueller, Bennett, Tessa, and Wren Polkowski, and Leonard, Myles, and Della Timblin; brother, John (Carol) Kraemer; brothers-in-law, Dr. James Twohig and Rich Miller; sisters-in-law, Rosie Guell, Bea Mueller, and Patricia Mueller; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. John William McGill

John William McGill

   John William McGill, 71, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, after an 8-month battle with cancer. He and his wife, Nancy (Suscha) McGill enjoyed 43 years of marriage together.   John was born on November 29, 1952, in Plainview, NE, a short drive from his home town of Center, NE. He was the son of Dwight and Joan (Truman) McGill. John graduated from Creighton High School at age 17 and continued his education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating with a degree in Food Science & Technology. Throughout his life, he was employed by various companies in the dairy industry.    John enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, gardening, woodworking, fishing, and camping.   As a young adult, John moved to Sheboygan, working at Lake to Lake where he met his loving wife, Nancy. They married on May 2, 1981, started a family, and were blessed with three children. They moved to California for John’s job at the Nestle Ice Cream factory. While living in California, he enjoyed visits to National Parks, boating with his family, adventuring at Disneyland, and skiing in the mountains. Grande Cheese brought the McGill family back to Wisconsin, where they continued to raise their children in Lomira. He was a proud supporter of his children and cheered them on throughout all of all of their studies and extracurricular activities. He found added joy in retirement, when he moved to Green Bay, where he was able to spend quality time making memories with his grandchildren, taking cross-country camping trips with Nancy, and enjoying his hobbies.    He is survived by with wife, Nancy McGill; children, Sarah (Paul) Larson, Matthew (Rachel) McGill, Timothy (Bridget) McGill; his grandchildren, Parker, Tanner, Graham, August, Nolan, Frank, and Grace; brother, Robert (Jan) McGill; sister-in-law, Chris Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by parents, Dwight and Joan McGill; in-laws, Frank and Minnett Suscha; brother, Keith McGill; and brother-in-law, Silvio Lopez.    Visitation was held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel (340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, WI), Wednesday, May 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Newcomer-Green Bay Chapel, Thursday, May 23, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital in John's name are appreciated.   John's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Tyion Torres, Brooke Yakel, NP, Unity Hospice and Deacon Kevin DeCleene for their incredible care and compassion.

Margaret Mary (Langenhorst) Wheeler

Margaret Mary (Langenhorst) Wheeler

   Margaret M. Wheeler passed away from this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024, surrounded by family, friends, and beloved pets, in the comfort of her home in Albuquerque, NM.    Born in Fond du Lac, on July 30, 1945, she was the youngest of seven children brought together by the marriage of her parents, Conrad Langenhorst and Mary (Pruitt) Langenhorst.   She was raised in Mayville, and became a graduate of Mayville High School in 1963. Shortly after, she attended Oshkosh State College and it was during this time that she met and married the love of her life, George C. Wheeler, her devoted husband of 57 years. Together, they welcomed a daughter, Wendy Ellen. After residing 26 years in Wisconsin, they moved to Albuquerque, NM.    Margy began working in Albuquerque in 1974. She entered the workforce as an entry-level secretary not knowing that she would soon advance her skills as a legal secretary and continue to build her career by becoming a Certified Paralegal in the State of New Mexico. She worked for a number of prominent law firms in Albuquerque before her formal retirement in the mid-90s.    Anyone and everyone who knew Margy will tell you that she was full of life. Her energy and enthusiasm was contagious to those around her. As a young girl and throughout her life as an adult woman, she was the life of the party. Her magnitude of love was unselfishly shared with everyone. As a daughter, she was mischievous and curious. As a sister, she was always available. As an aunt, she was the favorite. As a friend, she was honest and loyal. As a wife, she was loving and devoted. As a mother, she was exceptional. Our world without her feels much emptier.    She is survived by her husband, George C. Wheeler; her daughter, Wendy Wheeler Martinez; and her son-in-law, Dr. Michael J. Martinez of Albuquerque. Margy has one surviving half-brother, Conrad Langenhorst and his wife, Ruth Langenhorst of Berlin. She has a surviving sister-in-law, Kandee Wheeler Heidtke, and her husband, Keith Heidtke, of West Bend. She has fifteen surviving nephews and nieces and their respective families located throughout the country.   She was preceded in death by her parents; her father- and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Dolores Wheeler; her half-brothers, Vernon, Lawrence, and Herman; her half-sisters, Charlotte Stortz and Mary Ann Leader; her nephews, Jamie Hammer, Stephen Stortz; her niece, Kathleen Greene.   A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 25, in Albuquerque, NM.
