Raymond A. Schrauth

   Raymond A. Schrauth, 85, of Campbellsport walked thru the Pearly Gates into the arms of Jesus and Mary and his wife, Judy, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, with his loving family gathered with him.   He was born in the Town of Kewaskum on June 4, 1939, the son of Peter and Marion (Theusch) Schrauth.    On May 21, 1960, Ray was united in marriage to Judy A. Rahn at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.   He was a member of St., Matthew’s Catholic Church and faith was very important to Ray.   Ray worked at Regal Ware his entire working career before retiring. Judy and Ray traveled extensively throughout the United States in their RV. He loved nature but did enjoy cutting down trees. Ray was a perfectionist when it came to his woodworking, and he enjoyed hiking in the mountains out West. Ray was never one to pass up ice cream or, better yet, a chocolate malt.   Those left behind to cherish Ray’s memory include his children, Bonnie (Dave) Kristan, Don (LuAnn) Schrauth, and Beth (Tim) Pautsch; grandchildren, Abe (Laura) McCarty, Andy (Nikki) McCarty, Jessie (Ryan Gilbert) McCarty, Nick (Emily) Gellings, Jon (Jill) Gellings, Amanda Schrauth, and Heather (John Garrison) Schrauth; great-grandchildren, Nolan, William, Maisie, and Matthew McCarty, Ben and Nate Gellings, and Arete and Esker Gellings; sisters, Margie (Rich) Schmidt and Gloria Kumrow; sister-in-law, Jeanne (Allen) Amerling; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Judy, on April 4, 2024; parents, Pete and Marion; in-laws, Steve and Mary Rahn; and brother-in-law, Ron Kumrow.   A private family service will be held.   Memorials are appreciated to Hospice Home of Hope, 400 County Road K, Fond du Lac, WI 54935.Thank you to Hospice Home of Hope in FDL for providing grace and dignity for Dad during his last days.   Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, is serving the family. Parker Jule Lange

   Parker Jule Lange, 26, of Campbellsport, rode the skies to heaven on July 27, 2024.    Parker was born in Plymouth, on June 29, 1998, the son of Roger and Joanne (Mitchell) Lange. Starting at a young age, Parker showed his enthusiasm in life. He was always eager to try new things, being involved in cub scouts, racing, soccer, hunting, trap shooting, and many other activities.    Parker graduated from Campbellsport High School in 2016. He worked at Highland Hunt Club and FJ Rahn & Sons Farm, while attending high school. He went on to MPTC to complete an apprenticeship with MidPoint Machine. He earned his journeyman’s card and found his home with TDC Engineering in Armstrong.   His true passion in life was motorcycle racing. He started this at the age of five and grew through the ranks. He received his professional license in 2016 and continued for a few years before stepping down in 2020. Parker loved all aspects of motorcycles. He loved to wrench, crank hogs with his friends, and even stunt at events. His main discipline was flat track and ice racing in the cold winter months. However, he enjoyed dabbling in super moto, motocross, and hill climbing. This sport allowed Parker to live more and spend time with his family and friends that shared the same passion in life.    Motorcycle racing aside, Parker was an avid outdoorsman. Enjoying solo trips bow hunting, gun hunting with his family, pheasant hunting with his favorite pals Denver & Chopper, and trap shooting with his brother and friends.    Parker’s hard working ethic lead him to start his own journey of becoming an entrepreneur in his trade, as he was working on opening PLP (Parker Lange Products, LLC). Parker wanted to bring both his love for machining and motorcycle racing together to create a business of specialized motorcycle parts.    Parker will always be remembered for his infectious genuine smile, humble and loyal mindset, and his legendary mustache.    Those left behind to cherish Parker’s memory include his forever love, Maisie Osuski; their fur babies, Chopper and Throttle; his parents, Roger and Joanne; siblings, Hannah (Tyler Immel) and Brady (Shelby Werbelow) Lange. He is further survived by his maternal grandmother, Karen Mitchell; and godparents, Karla Putnam and Larry Lange; aunts and uncles, Howard (Janice) Mitchell, Pamela (Rodney) Ravanelli, Karla (Paul) Putnam, Ellie (Tim) Gruman, Larry (Robin) Lange and Patti (Lee) Krautkramer; numerous cousins, colleagues, racers, and friends.    He was greeted at the gates of heaven by his maternal grandfather, Donald Mitchell; paternal grandparents, Albert and Lorraine Lange and Grandma Pat (Patricia Hafermann); fellow racers and friends, Charlotte Kainz, Alec Muth and Austin Reifschneider.    Through the generous gifts of his organs and tissues, Parker continues to change the lives of those around him. Parker makes his family so proud by sharing his love of life with those who are to receive his organs and tissues.    Service were held on Friday, Aug. 2, at Shepherd of the Hills Parish - W1562 County Road B, Eden, WI 53019. Visitation was held from 1 to 7 p.m. with a Catholic Mass to follow. Father Mark Jones officiated. Dennis H. Moldenhauer

Dennis H. Moldenhauer

   Dennis H Moldenhauer, 82, of Mayville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville. Dennis leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faith.    Dennis was born the son of Lorenz and Lydia (Maas) Moldenhauer on February 16, 1942, in Hartford. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1960. He went on to attend the UW School of Agriculture in Madison.   He was united in marriage to Barbara A. Koch on November 4, 1978, at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Iron Ridge.    Dennis retired from ConAgra at the age of 64. He also farmed for many years in the village of Iron Ridge.   Dennis was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Kekoskee, where he also volunteered. Dennis spent his retirement delving into his love for genealogy, taking walks, and spending precious time with his family. Dennis was active with the Senior Center in Iron Ridge and enjoyed attending car shows.    Dennis was a wonderful husband, father, and brother, who cherished stories and laughter with his family. He had a passion for his faith and the church.    Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; three children, Nathan (Renee) Moldenhauer of Sussex, Brendan (Erin) Moldenhauer of Ripon, and Kristin (Peter) Plashko of Bushwood, MD; four grandchildren, Jasmine, Adeline, Peter Jr., and Theodore; and sister, Lois (Richard) Lund of Carmel, IN; nieces, Laura and Jennifer; and nephew, Derrick. Dennis is further survived by other relatives and friends.   Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.   A graveside committal service for Dennis took place on Friday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Cemetery in Iron Ridge with Rev. Donald P. Ernisse

   Donald P. Ernisse, 85, of Campbellsport went to join the love of his life Shirley in heaven on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa with his family gathered around him.   He was born in West Bend on September 4, 1938, the son of Melvin and Florence (Galabinski) Ernisse.   Donnie proudly served in the United States Army as an amphibious vehicle driver from 1956 to 1958. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and Carbine Expert badge.   On May 12, 1962, Donnie was united in marriage to Shirley Theisen at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eden.   He worked at Kieckhafer Mercury and Gehl Company, retiring as a proud member of the Hexel Bank Club. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the Sno Cougar Snowmobile Club.   Donnie enjoyed camping with the family, vacationing out West, hunting, fishing, casino trips, and was a die-hard Packer fan. Most important to Donnie was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and taking his grandson to school at St. Matthew’s.    Survivors include his children, Randy (Suzanne) Ernisse, Shelly (Dan) Salter, Rick Ernisse; grandchildren, Miranda Ernisse, Priscilla (Jordan) Ernisse, Ashley (Ryan) Lindsley, Dustin (Heather) Salter, and Easton Ernisse; great-grandchildren Jack, Charlie, Millie, and Laylin; his sister, Phyllis Faber; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Darlene Ernisse, Lloyd and Janet Fellenz, Pat and Bill Wettstein, Catherine and Roger Lahm, Judy Theisen, and Cheryl Theisen, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.    Donnie was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, on May 2, 2021; his parents, Melvin and Florence; in-laws, Henry and Viola Theisen; sisters, Delores Bandle, Marian Wojtalewicz, Betty Ann Fellenz; brother, Merlin (Sam) Ernisse; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Melvin Ebert, Elroy Bandle, Melvin Martin, Ben Wojtalewicz, Eugene Faber, James, Joseph and Daniel Theisen, Bonnie Immel; nieces and nephew, Cheryl Ann Ebert, Heidi Theisen, and Kyle Theisen.    Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 1, from 3 p.m. until time of Mass at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport.    A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 6 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Entombment will take place on Friday, Aug. 2, in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.    Donnie will forever be remembered for his bright smile and laughter.   The family would like to extend their immense gratitude to the Campbellsport ambulance crew and First Responders, SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital Emergency Room staff, Flight For Life medical crew, and Fond du Lac Sheriff’s Deputy Olson for their rapid response, care and compassion.    In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Matthew’s School or Columbus Parc Memorial Garden.    Twohig Funeral Home is serving the family with an online guestbook and condolences at www.twohigfunerals.

Louise Emily (Hodel) Burg

   Louise Emily (Hodel) Burg, 81, of St. Kil­ian, went to be with Jesus on July 26, 2024, after a beau­ti­fully lived life.   She was born No­vem­ber 28, 1942, the daugh­ter of Carl and Clara (Am­me­ter) Hodel.   Louise and her hus­band, Robert “Bob”, be­came united in mar­riage on No­vem­ber 28, 1964, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Menomonee Falls. For many years they lived in the St. Lawrence area and then moved to St. Kil­ian. Both con­tin­ued to walk in their faith and be­came mem­bers of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Camp­bell­sport.   To­gether Bob and Louise en­joyed spend­ing their nearly 60 years to­gether gar­den­ing, spend­ing time out­side and at­tend­ing an­tique trac­tor shows.   Louise was in­cred­i­bly proud of and leaves be­hind her hus­band, Bob; two daugh­ters, Linda (Robert) Prokopow­icz and Roberta (John) Kuech­ler; and two grand­chil­dren, Jes­sica Saun­ders and Megan (Jacob) Hei­d­ner. Louise trea­sured her five great-grand­chil­dren and was al­ways look­ing for­ward to fam­ily gath­er­ings and bak­ing treats to share. She is also sur­vived by other rel­a­tives and many friends.   She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Carl and Clara; her broth­ers, Carl and Wally; and her sis­ters, Helen and Eleanor.   Louise will al­ways be re­mem­bered for her de­vo­tion and af­fec­tion to her fam­ily, her hard work and in­cred­i­ble smile. Marilyn Janet Uelmen

   Mar­i­lyn Janet Uel­men, 95, passed away on July 28, 2024, at Gables On The Pond Ran­dom Lake, where she had been a res­i­dent for the last three years.   She was born on April 7, 1929, to Richard and Pearl (Ro­maine) Trapp of New Prospect. Mar­i­lyn grad­u­ated from Camp­bell­sport High School in 1946. She grad­u­ated from UW-White­wa­ter in 1950 with a Bach­e­lor or Ed­u­ca­tion de­gree.    On No­vem­ber 4, 1950, Mar­i­lyn mar­ried Daniel Peter Uel­men in Camp­bell­sport, who pre­ceded her in death on Au­gust 4, 2019.   She taught at Glen­bu­lah and Ran­dom Lake High Schools until 1956, when she and Dan pur­chased Ran­dom Lake Oil Com­pany. To­gether they op­er­ated the busi­ness until their re­tire­ment in 1991.   Mar­i­lyn was a mem­ber of St. John’s UCC in Ran­dom Lake. She was also mem­ber of the Hamm-Miller-Diedrich Le­gion Aux­il­iary.    Mar­i­lyn is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Rachel (Russ) Miller of Beech­wood; son, Daniel (Sherri) of Ran­dom Lake; grand­son, Daniel Uel­men of Ran­dom Lake; grand­daugh­ters, Robyn (Eric) Hat­ton of Toledo, OH, and Saman­tha Uel­men (spe­cial friend Je­remy In­galls) of Verona, NJ ;and great-grand­son Car­son, Uel­men of Ran­dom Lake. She is fur­ther sur­vived by her brother-in-law, Dou­glas (Eve­lyn) Uel­men of Green Bay; and sis­ter-in-law, Diane Feiten of Colby; along with nieces and nephews.   Along with her par­ents and hus­band, she was pre­ceded in death by her sis­ter, Vir­ginia Trapp; brother, Ger­ald Jan­dre; broth­ers-in-law and sis­ters-in-law, David and Pa­tri­cia Uel­men, Daisy and William Carey, Don­ald and Ann Uel­men, brother-in-law, James Feiten; and grand­son, Rus­sell Miller Jr.    Per Mar­i­lyn’s re­quest, there will be no fu­neral or vis­i­ta­tion. Fol­low­ing cre­ma­tion, a pri­vate grave­side ser­vice will take place at the New Prospect ceme­tery.   The fam­ily wishes to thank the staff at Gables On The Pond Ran­dom Lake and Lily Hos­pice for the won­der­ful care they pro­vided to Mar­i­lyn.

Dennis “Denny” Kleinke

Dennis “Denny” Kleinke

   In the morning hours of Sunday, July 28, 2024, Dennis “Denny” Kleinke of Kewaskum, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded in the love and comfort of his family.   Born 78 years ago on August 18, 1945, Denny was one of four sons of the late Fredrick “Fritz” and LaVerne (nee Harter) Kleinke.   Denny was united in loving matrimony to Susan Bannenberg on October 5, 1968. They would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this year, a tribute to many wonderful years of exemplary true love.   A proud Vietnam Veteran, Denny served his country well in the Army, where he traveled to Laos from 1966 until 1968. He was always good with his hands and mechanically inclined, so it was fitting for him to have had the MOS of Helicopter Repair Specialist. Denny was honorably discharged in 1971, after five heroic years of dedication to his country. On Wednesday afternoons you could find Denny at the American Legion Pavilion at Washington County Fair Park flipping burgers and serving fries. He then had a successful career spanning 44 years at Tecumseh Products in Grafton.   Denny was a bona fide music lover with a collection of literally hundreds of records; but his most prized piece was his 1964 Wurlitzer Jukebox. Needless to say, he could most oftentimes be found just sitting back and enjoying some good tunes. He also had an extensive coin collection and enjoyed researching the history and having the knowledge of each one.   Another favorite pastime of Denny’s was taking in some thrilling television, his favorites being ‘The Young and the Restless’, ‘The Price is Right’, and WWE Wrestling ‘Monday Night Raw’ and ‘Friday Night Smackdown’. With his family owning the Amerahn in Kewaskum (now Foundry 45), it was his favorite place to watch Starr, Favre, and Rodgers fire ‘Hail Marys’ down the Lambeau turf; or Fingers, Yount, and Braun hit dingers out of Miller Park.   Denny had a competitive side as well. He played on the Amerahn softball league, sent strikes down the alleys at Weilands, threw for the Pilgrim Lutheran Church dartball team, added up to 31 in cribbage, led the sheepshead tournaments at Germanfest, and enjoyed playing spades.   Above all these things, Denny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to anyone who had the fortune to have met or known him. His passing will leave a Denny-size hole in our hearts, and though he will be missed forever, our memories of him will be cherished forever.   He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Susan; his three doting children, Michelle “Shelly” (Jeff) Roell, Rhonda (Jon) Oyler, and Darryl Kleinke; his eight grandchildren, Abby (Josiaha) Hess, Cassie Kaehne (Tyler Rosche), Travis Wondra, Zachary (JoAnn) Wondra, Preslie Wondra, Sydney (Brayden Kolstad) Roell, Tyler Roell, Cayden Kleinke, will never forget the lessons from their dear grandpa. He also had seven darling great-grandchildren, Greyson Roell, Dexter Wondra, Rodney Wondra, Sage Rosche, Elijah Rosche, Elara Hess, and Anaya Kleinke; his brothers and sisters-in-law will miss their dear sibling, including Russell (Lynn) Kleinke, Fred (Lynn) Kleinke, Sharon Kleinke, and Dorothy Kleinke.   Meeting Denny in Heaven are his parents, and his brother, Ival Kleinke.   VISITATION: Denny’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095.   SERVICE: A Funeral Service in remembrance of Denny will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Ronald Lee Schroeder

Ronald Lee Schroeder

   Ronald Lee Schroeder, 88 of North Fond du Lac, formerly of Kekoskee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Hope Senior Living in Lomira.   Ron was born on August 4, 1935, to Fred A. and Leona (Mueller) Schroeder in Kekoskee.   He graduated from Mayville High School in 1954.   Ron was united in marriage to Holly B. Bartel on March 4, 1953, in Carma, IL.   He was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.   Ron retired from Metalcraft in 2000. Ron also was a second-generation owner of Schroeder Floral and Landscaping. He also owned an ambulance and hearse service, and a snowmobile business that sold Sno-Prince snowmobiles. He was a welder, brake press operator, and maintenance man. Ron built their first two houses in Kekoskee by himself. He played hockey, loved being outside tending to his flowers, feeding wildlife, and traveling with his wife Holly. They enjoyed playing horseshoes, sheepshead, dancing to polka, and going on Harley rides. Most of all, he was a proud family man. He jumped at every opportunity to watch his grandkids and great-grandkids at their events/activities.    Ron is survived by his son, Scott Schroeder; his special friend, Mary Havey; grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Schroeder, Jesse (Sara) Schroeder, Josey (Sarah) Schroeder, Megan (Mark) Meneau, Michelle (James) Harper, Avery Schroeder, Derek (fiancée Tara Haack) Schroeder, Eli Buchta, Miranda (Aaron) Zuege; 14 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jody (special friend Terry Wolter) Schroeder; son-in-law, Mark Belise; and beloved dog companion, Teddy. Ron is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.   Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Holly; his four sons, Randy, Ricky, Jeff, and Tim; and daughter, Cheryl.   A memorial service for Ronald will take place on Wednesday, August 7, at 1 p.m. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville with Rev. Dr. Mark G. Cutler officiating. Gwen S. Mellenthien

   Gwen S. Mellenthien, 85, of Horicon, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Christian Home in Waupun.    Gwen was born the daughter of William J. and Stephany A. (Partynski) Butterfield on October 28, 1938, in Chicago.   She graduated high school from Madonna High in Chicago, IL, in 1956.   She received her bachelor’s degree in education from Viterbo University in 1962 and went on to teach English and Theater at the Horicon High School.   Gwen was united in marriage to Roy F. Mellenthien on January 16, 1965, at St. Malachy’s in Horicon.   She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon and was active in the Christian Mother’s/Womens’ group. She also was a youth minister, confirmation instructor, and aided with adult ministry. Gwen was a member of the Horicon Board of Education.   In her spare time, she enjoyed music, movies, reading, shopping and casino trips. She loved the time spent with her ‘birthday group’. Family was also important to Gwen, and she cherished the time spent with them, as well as many trips and camping together.    Gwen is survived by her husband, Roy of Waupun; her children, Colleen (Don) McCallum of Horicon, Brad (Lynn) Mellenthien of Richfield and Claire (Rick) Holz of Watertown; her grandchildren, Abigail, Anna and Cassidy McCallum, Rebecca Pieper, Ashley and Megan (fiance’ Matthew Marchus) Mellenthien, and Emily Haslow; her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Herd of St. Ann, MO; her special family friend, Gloria Krueger of Stoughton; her canine buddy, Moose; further survived by other relatives and friends.     She was preceded in death by her parents.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon with the Rev. Fr. Michael Petrie presiding. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. David L. Knueppel

   David L. Knueppel, 64, of Brownsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the SSM Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.   David was born the son of Elmer and Genevieve (Enfelt) Knueppel on August 4, 1959, in Waupun.   He had worked for Knowles Produce and AlliedBarton Security for Michels Corporation.   In his spare time, David enjoyed the outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing. He also liked to put together models and have cookouts on his grill.   David was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brownsville.   David is survived by his sisters, Donna Harlan of Brownsville, Laura (Roger) Burmeister of Seymour, and Jean Werner of Rhinelander; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.    He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pat Bouzek; and brothers-in-law, Bob Harlan, George Bouzek, and Art Reinhart.    A funeral service for David will take place on Thursday, August 1, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Brownsville with the Rev. William Carter officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
