   Troy Frederiksen, 22, of Horicon passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam.   Troy was born the youngest son of John and Linda (Spittel) Frederiksen on July 19, 1999, in Beaver Dam.   He was a 2018 graduate of Horicon High School.   In his spare time, Troy loved to be outdoors-whether it be hunting, fishing, or being on the marsh. He loved to work on vehicles and was quite skilled at it. He was known for his great style and awesome sneaker collection. Troy also enjoyed gaming and music.    Troy is survived by his father, John of Horicon; his grandmother, Agnes Frederiksen of Beaver Dam; his siblings, Chad Spittel of Theresa, Jessica Frederiksen of Horicon, Tracy Frederiksen of Milwaukee, Cory Frederiksen of Horicon, Mike Frederiksen of Horicon, and Andrew Frederiksen of Gwinn, MI; his nieces, Allie and Cali Spittel.; further survived by other relatives and many friends.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda; his grandparents, Leslie and Violet Spittel; as well as his uncle, Tom Frederiksen; and cousin, Tom Reinwald.    A private graveside service will be held at St. Malachy Cemetery in Horicon.   Memorials may be directed to the family.   Koepsell Funeral Home in Horicon is serving the family. www.KoepsellFH.com

Floyd Raymond Klug

Floyd Raymond Klug


   Floyd Raymond Klug, 89, of the Town of Scott, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at his home with his wife, Laura, by his side.    He was born on April 12, 1933, in the Town of Scott, the son of the late Raymond and Leta (Wilke) Klug. He was baptized in the Town of Scott and was confirmed in 1946. He was a 1951 graduate of Random Lake High School.   On October 22, 1960, he was united in marriage to Laura Marie Koepsell at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mayville.    Floyd served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1957 aboard the U.S.S. Everglades. After his service in the Navy, Floyd returned to hauling milk for various companies with the majority of his time spent working for Wilbur Pfeiffer Company. In addition to hauling milk, Floyd worked on the homestead farm in the Town of Scott and, after marrying Laura, on the Walter and Irene Koepsell dairy farm in Mayville. In 1973, Floyd and Laura purchased the homestead farm in the Town of Scott, which he successfully ran until his retirement.    Floyd served in various volunteer roles within the community, including being a longstanding member and president of The Beechwood Fire Department, member of the Town of Scott planning commission, and Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Scott elder, trustee and chairman.   Floyd loved socializing with others; always ready to strike up a conversation. Floyd and Laura enjoyed attending polka dances with their many friends. Floyd enjoyed cars and was a member of the Classic Car Club.    Floyd was beloved by his family and is survived by his loving wife of nearly 62 years, Laura; his daughter, Doreen (Chris) Van Ells; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Caleb) Zastrow and Hailey Van Ells (Cal Brook); his sister, Rogene (Dan) Bolander and his brother, Glen (Marge) Klug, as well as other relatives and friends.   Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Leta Klug.    A visitation for Floyd will be held at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville on Tuesday, June 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and also at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane on Wednesday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.   A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Eckert officiating with military honor with a luncheon to follow. Interment will be at Hochheim Cemetery following the meal.    Memorial donations may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane.   The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for all of those who cared for Floyd with special thanks to Ashley, Kez, and Dawn for all of their devoted care.    The Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville is serving the family. Delbert W. Ehlers

Delbert W. Ehlers


   Delbert W. Ehlers, 94, of Mayville, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, with his family by his side at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.   Delbert was born on July 14, 1927, on the family farm in the Town of Herman to William and Esther (Justman) Ehlers. He was brought to faith on July 31, 1927, with the washing of Holy Baptism at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Town Theresa by Rev. Julius Uhlmann. On September 22, 1940, he was confirmed at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church by Rev. Herman Cares. Delbert attended eight years of education at Black Oak School (one room school house) in the Town of Herman.   Delbert served his country in the US Army Air Corp from 1945 to 1948 as a traffic controller.    On January 26, 1952, Delbert was united in marriage to Violet Pusch at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Hartford by the Rev. Adolph Von Rohr. They were blessed with three children, Bonnie, James, and David.   Delbert enjoyed all the places he worked (with many stories to tell) starting as a farm hand, working at Baker Canning Co. in Theresa, the shoe factory in Mayville (where he made his wife’s wedding shoes) and 36 years at Mayville Metal Products retiring in 1989.   Del loved hunting, fishing, watching the Brewers, Packers, and his grand children playing sports. At many a softball game, he managed to get hit with a ball. He loved to travel. Alongside his wife, they traveled to 49 states missing only Rhode Island. After Violet’s passing, the traveling continued with Jim, Bonnie, and Wayne on numerous cruises. Jim and Del even went to Europe.   He was a charter member of the Field and Stream Sportsman’s Club in Mayville.   Del is survived by his daughter, Bonnie (Wayne) Schultz of Mayville; his son, David (Beth) Ehlers of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Tammy (Ron) Walters, and their children, Emily and Aaron, Ken (Jenny) Drake and their children, Olivia and Owen, Jenny (Kurt Frank) Thompson and her children, Jocelyn and Andrea, Kevin (Becky) Schultz and their children, Austin, Hayden, Cohen, and Blake, Katie (Rick) Campbell and their children, Killian and Flynn, Jeri (Christopher) Reiner and her son, Tristan, Vanessa (Nate) Werner and their children, Bennett and Blake; sisters-in-law, LaVerne (Richard) Zahnow and Carol Pusch.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Violet; his son, James; brothers, Myron, Merlin, William, and Carroll; his sisters, LaVerne and Ruth Giese, and a still born son.   A visitation for Delbert will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Another visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville with the Rev. Dr. Mark G. Cutler and Rev. Joshua Frazee officiating. Interment will take place at St. John Cemetery in Mayville with military honors to be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John’s Elevator Fund.    Special thanks to Prairie Ridge in Mayville for their loving care since January. Also thank you to Marshfield Medical Care/ Beaver Dam Campus, third floor nurses and Dr. Antle and Dr. Gill for all of their care the last days. Then, of course, thank you to Rev. Dr. Mark G. Robert A. “Bobbo” Royes

Robert A. “Bobbo” Royes


   Robert A. "Bobbo" Royes, 85, of West Bend, formerly of Mayville and Green Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Froedtert Hospital in West Bend with his family by his side.   Robert was born the son of John and Genevieve (Jagodzinski) Royes on December 15, 1936, in Chicago.   He served his country honorably in the US Army from 1957 to 1963, serving as SFC (E-6) Military Police.   Bob was united in marriage to Sandra J. Kapp on August 31, 1963, in Chicago.   He had worked as a purchasing manager for several area manufacturing companies such as Mayville Engineering Company, Watertown Metal Products, and retired from Gleason Reel in January of 2001.    Robert was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mayville and also The Lutheran Church of the Risen Savior in Green Valley.   In his spare time, Bob loved sports and was a great athlete. He played softball until his early 80s and was a proud member of the BAJA Sporting Club in Green Valley and also served on its Board of Directors. Bob also enjoyed volunteering in his community helping out with the Sheriff’s Auxiliary (S.A.V.) and Operation Christmas Child.   Robert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandi of West Bend; his children, Cathy (Jeff) Schneider of Fond du Lac and B.J. (Amy) Royes of West Bend; his sister, Romaine (Larry) Burfield of FL; his grandchildren, Josh (Hannah) Royes, Dustin (fiance’ Libby) Schneider, Zack Royes, and Taylor (Brandon) Van Bogaert; his great-granddaughter, Emilia; further survived by other relatives and many friends.   Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John, Jr.   A memorial service for Bob will take place on Saturday, June 11, at 12 p.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville with the Rev. Dr. Mark G. Cutler officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Military honors will be conducted by the Army Honor Guard and the Mayville American Legion Post #69. Charles J. Kreuziger


   Charles J. Kreuziger, 88, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital.   Charles was born on September 18, 1933, in Watertown, a son of the late John and Genevieve Kreuziger (nee Powers) and he married Beverly Nickel on December 21, 1957.   He worked as a mechanic and also at Clearview Nursing Home in maintenance.    Charlie enjoyed hunting, watching the birds and working on small engines.   Those left behind to cherish his memory include his children, Raymond Kreuziger (Sharlyne Tetzlaff), Charleen (Ted) Lamp, Rena Eldridge (Jim Haslow), and Michael (Julia) Kreuziger; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and sisters, Helen Schartner and Judy Zastrow.   He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; and siblings, LeRoy Kreuziger, Roman Kreuziger, Elizabeth Kreuziger, and Robert Kreuziger.   A memorial service in remembrance of Charles will be held on Saturday, June 4, at 11 a.m. at Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac, WI 54935. Jerry E. Billington

Jerry E. Billington


 Jerry E. Billington, 75, of Horicon, passed away after a lengthy battle with MS at Clearview in Juneau.   Jerry was born the son of Ellis and Marion (Uhl) Billington on August 15, 1946.   He was united in marriage to his first wife, Donna Weber, on June 4, 1966. They had one daughter, Tracy (Billington) Liggins. He married his second wife, Judy Michael, on June 30, 1988, and they had three children, Ryan, Ashley (Nick Curry), and Brittany (Andy Wendt).   Jerry worked for the City of Horicon for most of his life and retired on January 2, 2003.   He had a passion for helping others in his community. Jerry was a past firefighter, emergency management, and DCERT. He also served his community as past alderman. Jerry had his own light service as well.   In his spare time, Jerry loved to go on camping trips.   Jerry is survived by his children, Tracy Liggins of Beaver Dam, Ryan of Horicon, Ashley (Nick Curry) Billington of Horicon, and Brittany (Andy Wendt) Billington of Beaver Dam; his step-daughters, Michele (Marcus Kirchoff) Reinwald of Hustisford and Stephanie (Richard) Eichorst of Horicon; his brothers, James and John; his grandchildren, Samantha and Alyssa Eichorst, Vanessa Buchda and Mitchell Papke; his great-granddaughters, Emma, Gracelynn and Rose Buchda; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jane Preston; and a step-grandson, Thomas Reinwald.   A graveside memorial for Jerry is being planned for a future date.   The family wishes to thank the staff at Clearview in Juneau for their care and support shown to Jerry and his family over the years.   Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Horicon is serving the family. John ‘Mighty Fine’ Feucht

John ‘Mighty Fine’ Feucht


   John ‘Mighty Fine’ Feucht, 85, of Hartford passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.   John was born the son of Martin and Helen (Kahlhamer) Feucht on May 12, 1937. John attended Mayville High School until his sophomore year, then came back to work on the farm before entering the US Marine Corps. and serving from 1955-1957. He served as a Marine Corps Tank Commander in the South Pacific.   He then came back and was united in marriage to Charlotte Collien and started his family. They later divorced and he was united in marriage to Charlene Jansen on February 11, 1989. John raised his children on the farm in LeRoy, while working 10 years for Waas Boring and Cable. He was also a volunteer Knowles Fireman and Dodge County Deputy Sheriff serving as Constable for LeRoy. John then opened Mighty Fine’s Tavern in Knowles, alongside selling paint jobs for Roberts Brothers Painting. He then went on to work at Slinger Foundry and then finished his working career at Hahn’s True Value in Hartford.    As you can tell, Mighty Fine really never could stop working, and always had to be busy. As this is planting season, his garage was filled with flowers ready to go into planters and vegetables for his many jars of beets and pickles that he canned every year. John and Charlene had many good years spent filling up the bird feeders and feeding squirrels along with all the flowers around the yard. They also enjoyed bus tours, rummage sales, and selling his hand painted saw blades. He was a wonderful caregiver to Charlene in her final years and now they are together again.    Mighty Fine was also a pit crew member for Ray Bohlander Racing Team. He enjoyed sports, especially the Packers, Brewers, and the Bucks. He was also a member of the R.A.T. Club Tractor Club. John also enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, and spearing. He was a founding member of the Field and Stream Sportsman Club. He was also a member of the Slinger VFW Post #3358 and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Rubicon.   John is survived by his children, Shelly (Duey) Valle of Pickford, MI, Fran Feucht of Idaho, Patti (Scott) Wells of Brownsville, Tina ‘Charlene’ (K.R. Holden) Feucht of Euless, TX, Jeni (Dennis) Oechsner of Brownsville; step-children, Denien Jensen of Texas and Cynthia (Timothy) Hill of Hartford; his grandchildren, Brad Valle, Nicole (Justin) Prenevost, Daniel (Jessica) Feucht, David (Ashley) Feucht, Jessica (Chris) Siple, Travis Wells, Melissa (Luke) Riehbrandt, Tanya (Landon) Schoenmann, and Kendra (Trever) Apfelbeck; his step-grandchildren, Bobby (Alissa LaCross) Lindemann and Amanda (Brian) Seniuk.; his 11 great-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter; his siblings, Caroline Sternat, Norbert (Louise) Feucht, Jerome (Ruthie) Feucht, Clarence (Sharon) Feucht, and Clem (Elaine) Feucht; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlene; daughter-in-law, Brenda Cramer; step-grandson, Mitch Lindemann; brother-in-law, Nubby Sternat; and a brother in infancy.   A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for John will take place on Saturday, June 11, at 1 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Rubicon with the Rev. Fr. Rick Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the church. Michael ‘Mike’ Glen Rohde Jr.


   Michael “Mike” Glen Rohde Jr., 44, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022.   He was born November 9, 1977, in Hartford, to Michael Glen Sr. and Elaine (Christian) Rohde.   Mike graduated from Mayville High School and went on to obtain a degree from ITT Technical Institute. He started Rohde Seamless Gutters in 2021. Mike enjoyed helping his friends out at CB’s Tap. He loved hunting and fishing, especially fishing with his daughter. Mike was a kind and caring father.   He is survived by his daughter, Savannah LaValle Rohde of Green Bay; mother, Elaine Rohde of Lakewood; siblings, Lori (fiancé Cleff Gibson) Rohde of West Bend, Wayne Rohde of Slidell, LA, Christopher Rohde of Lakewood; niece and nephew, Amanda and Arbie Gibson; and many other relatives and friends.    Mike was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Donald (LaValle) Christian, Glen (Mavis) Rohde; uncle and godfather, Neal Christian; cousins, Corey Schneider and Samuel Rohde.   Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 26.
