Kathleen F. Albrecht, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. Kathleen Faye was born the daughter of Helmuth and Elena (Walters) Qualmann on September 15, 1950 in Beaver Dam. She was baptized December 30, 1950 at St. John’s Lutheran Church (Browns Corner) in rural Horicon. She was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Madison in 1964. She was a 1968 graduate of Marshall High School. Kathleen was united in marriage to Larry Albrecht on July 9, 1967 and later divorced. Kathleen worked for the State of Wisconsin in various capacities. She was receptionist in the Governor’s office for Gov. Tommy Thompson and then retired as a program assistant in Health & In her spare time Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and making crafts and greeting cards. She also loved to travel and took numerous trips to Europe to visit relatives in France. One of the trips she took with her brother, Gene was to see the invasion site at Normandy Beach where her dad landed and fought in WWII. Kathleen was an active member of Living Waters Church in Sun Prairie. She loved Jesus and even took online correspondence courses with a Hebrew instructor from Israel, so she could learn the Hebrew language in order to better understand the Bible. Kathleen is survived by her grandchildren- Dakota and Kaiya Albrecht. Her brothers- Wayne (Crystal) Qualmann and Gene (Susan) Qualmann. Her sister in law Toni Qualmann. Former daughter in law-Tammy (George) Abdon. Former Sister in law- Virginia Qualmann. Nieces: Amy (Brian Daly) Qualmann; Carrie (Eric) Pettey; Shonda (Dwayne) Nedd; Nephews: Justin Qualmann; Jeremy Qualmann and many cousins and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Albrecht, son Laurence, infant sister Laurie Qualmann, and brother Robert Qualmann.    Mary M. Musack, 79, of Mayville passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.   Mary was born on December 29, 1941, the daughter of Joseph and Leona (Schon) Kessler in Hubbell, Michigan.   On August 18, 1962, she was married to Gary Van Norman in Fond du Lac, he passed away in 1980. She was married to William Musack on April 9, 1988 in North Fond du Lac.   Mary had been employed in food service for Nazareth Heights in Fond du Lac. Together with her husband, Bill they owned and operated an Over the Road Trucking Firm.   She was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa, and the Theresa American Legion Auxiliary Post #270.   Mary enjoyed bingo, cards, visiting, polka music and spending time with family.   She is survived by her husband William Musack; children, Darryl (Shari) Van Norman of Theresa, Lynan (David) Wiese of Mayville, Lisa (Paul) Kleinmaus of Rosendale; step-children, Connie (Marlin) Kuehl of North Fond du Lac, Stan Musack of Fond du Lac, Laurie Reinhart of Oshkosh, Nancy Barrett of Arkansas, Nannette Lem of Virginia, Tammy (Loren) Sorheim of Theresa Station, Selma (John) Borson of Crystal Lake, Illinois; sister Helen (Joe) Ostdiek of Lincoln, Nebraska; 35 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, also other relatives and friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Gary in 1980; her sister, Ann Kunz; three step-children, Penny, Vicky, and Ken.   Memorial donations in Mary’s name may be made to St. Peter’s Ev. Marie Adele Walter, 85, of Mayville passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac following complications after surgery. A funeral service for Marie will be held on Sunday, May 2, at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church), Theresa with the Rev. Douglas Zahner officiating. A visitation will take place at 12 to 2 p.m. at the church on Sunday. Burial will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Marie, who went by Adele was born the daughter of Marinius and Valborg Nelson on July 9, 1935 in Elroy, Wisconsin. She was a 1953 graduate of Elroy High School. Adele was united in marriage to Willard Walter on February 5, 1955 in Mauston, Wisconsin. Adele was well known in the area as the Avon Lady. She also drove bus for Johnson Bus Service and helped her husband Willie on the family farm in the early years and with his fertilizer business for the past 46 years. In her spare time Adele enjoyed travel and she loved multiple trips to Branson with Willie and his brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Bev and later with her own family, as well as, visiting relatives in California and Arizona. Adele also loved dancing. She met her husband Willie at a dance and from that moment on they never quit. They went to every single dance that they could. They danced together for 66 years. They loved the polka and the waltz and were always the last to leave a dance and anyone that watched them were amazed at how connected they were. They knew each other so well. Adele also had a great sense of humor and loved to giggle. Willie would make her laugh with lots of Norwegian jokes. Her greatest joy was taking care of the ones she loved… her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church) in Theresa. Her sweet smile, twinkly eyes and tender heart will be deeply missed. She would want us to now help Kerry and Willie in whatever ways we can. Adele is survived by her husband of 66 years- Willard of Fond du Lac. Her children- Gerald (Adena) Walter of Fond du Lac, Sherry (Mark) Boushele-Walter of Neenah, and Kerry Walter of Neenah.  Dorothy F. Twardokus, 87, of Burnett went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family.   Dorothy was born at home on December 21, 1933, the daughter of Albert and Clara (Geschke) Block in the Town of Williamstown.   She met Carl E. Twardokus when she was 15 and she later married her teen sweetheart on May 3, 1952, at Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon.   Dorothy helped her husband, Carl, run the family dairy farm in Burnett, where they lovingly raised their six children. She also loved raising chickens and gardening. Dorothy was an amazing baker and will forever be remembered for her apple and cherry kuchen, apple squares and cherry soup.   No family gathering would be complete without her mashed potatoes and homemade rolls. She enjoyed playing sheepshead and black jack. Mostly, Dorothy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter.   Dorothy is survived by her husband of 69 years, Carl E. Twardokus; her children, Carl A.  Mona F. Lichtenberg, 86, of rural Mayville went to join her Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Froedert West Bend Hospital.   Mona Frieda was born on January 20, 1935, the daughter of Merlin W. and Frieda (Heuer) Miescke in Horicon. She was baptized on April 28, 1935, at Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon by Pastor Paul A. Feustel. She graduated from Horicon High School on June 3, 1954.   She married Earl D. Lichtenberg at Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon on September 27, 1958.    She attended Cosmetology School in Milwaukee. Mona had been a clerical worker for Lichtenberg Bros. for many years.  Mona was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church) and also a member of Immanuel Lights.She enjoyed doing embroidery and sending birthday cards. She also liked watching and feeding the birds. Near and dear to Mona’s heart was her Horicon Heritage (orange and black) which always put a smile on her face. Most of all, she deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.    Mona is survived by her children, Dale Lichtenberg and Diane (Daniel) Krueger of both Mayville; five grandchildren, Heidi Lichtenberg, Jerome (Jade) Krueger, Mark (Kayla) Lichtenberg, James (special friend Melanie Mullikin) Krueger and Olivia (Joel) Voisin; five great-grandchildren, Ariana, Oliver, Xavier, Camilla and Connor; her sister, Cecelia Immerfall; her brother, David (Cheri) Miescke; brother-in-law, Roy (Sandy) Lichtenberg; sisters-in-law, Joyce (David) Bruni, Jean Lichtenberg and Judy Nass.    Paul Anthony Hesprich, 55, of Fond du Lac, gained his wings on April 10, 2021. His wish was to be at home, so by the care of his wife, family, and hospice services that was honored.   Paul was born on January 26, 1966, in Waupun, to Anthony and Mary Ann (Schraufnagel) Hesprich.   He married Dawn Marie (Cole) Hesprich on October 1, 2010, at St. John’s in Byron.   He was a graduate of UW Madison and a longtime employee at Quad Graphics in Lomira.   Paul was quite active. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, downhill skiing, hiking, biking, camping, bonfires, running, shooting darts, kicking the football for his late furry friend Smokey, and walking and cuddling his other furry friend Bandit. He relaxed by listening to music while enjoying his favorite drink Jim Beam and Coke, reading novels and spending time at his cabin. He was great at sports stats, trivia in general and had a wealth of knowledge to share.   He is survived by his wife, Dawn; his father, Anthony; his siblings, Deb Schellinger, Linda (Richard) Heinecke, Peter (Donna) Hesprich, Daniel (Julie) Hesprich, Nicholas (Jane) Hesprich, Robert (Janet) Hesprich, Mary Jo (James) Wendling; and extended family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann; and brother-in-law, Jeff Schellinger.   There will be a private celebration of Paul’s life at a later date.   Additional information and guestbook can be found at ueckerwitt.com

   Marion Elvira (Coulter) Schuster of Hartford, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, after a battle with cancer.   Marion was born on a farm in the town of Wayne to the late David and Alice (Wilke) Coulter on September 25, 1933.   She went to Mullen grade school and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1951. After graduation, Marion was employed by Bill and Frances Krueger at the Empire Hotel in Theresa.   On September 16, 1954, Marion was united in marriage to Kenneth Paul Schuster at Salem United Church of Christ in Wayne.   On November 1, 1954 they lived in and moved a house trailer to Ft. Pierce, FL, spending the winter there. In the Spring of 1955, Ken and Marion moved back to Theresa. They moved several times and eventually moved to Mayville, where their five children grew up and went to school.    From 1966 to 1974, Marion was employed at Maysteel Corp. as a machinist in the punch press dept. From 1974 until Ken passed away in 1993, Marion did the book work for “Ken Schuster Construction” in Mayville.   Marion moved to Fond du Lac in 1994. In 2001 she moved to Laguna Woods, CA, in a condo her son Patrick purchased for her. She lived close to him and his family and was able to watch her three grandchildren grow up there. She made wonderful friends, Bev, Sally, Becky, and Anne and spent many fun game nights. She also made many friends in the area, and especially enjoyed her friendship with Dan and Gaye Ramella. She really enjoyed her daily phone conversations with her cousin Marlene in California, and kept in touch with family and friends by creating beautiful holiday/birthday cards on her computer and printer. She moved to Hartford in 2011, after her son Patrick, passed away in 2010 and lived in a senior living apartment.    Marion leaves behind four children, Terence (Arlete) Schuster of Marietta, GA, Douglas (Laurie) Schuster of Fond du Lac, Scott Schuster of Mayville, Debbie Schuster of Lake Forest, CA, and Denise (Andrew) Roskopf of Hartford and special friend Cheryl; other survivors include grandchildren, Jessica (Ben) Logsdon, Logan (Chelsie) Schuster, Brittany (Tyler) Tomjanovich, Sarah (Jake Buchner) Schuster, Angela (Dan) Piel, Meghan (Jesse) Menges, Patrick II (Jodie) Schuster, Daniel (Lindsay) Schuster, Brian Schuster, Dylan (Shannon Eeg), Brendy (Jose Hernandez) Schuster, Ashley (Vincent) Vega, Brenton (Maggie) Roskopf and Matthew (Mallory Dejno) Roskopf; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Patrick III, Jack, Wyatt, Xzavier, Isaak, Cooper, Miles, Max, Viera, Hailey, Mason, Lennon, Boden, Theo, Silas, Arthur, Rachel Hernandez and Sharlet.  Ronald A. “Roko” Koepsell, 77, of Mayville, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.   Ronald was born on May 30, 1943, the son of Andrew and Viola (Detlaff) Koepsell.   He attended Mayville High School, then joined the United States Army in 1964. Roko served in Korea and was discharged in 1966.   He worked for Purity Products, part-time for Crist Aluminum and also worked for Pioneer Pole and Truss’s Plus. Roko also had his own part-time business, Roko Sales. He later retired from Metalcraft of Mayville.   Ronald enjoyed going and selling at flea markets as well as taking trips to the Amish country and listening to 60’s and Polka music. Roko loved to watch his grandchildren play baseball and other sports.   Ronald was a member of the American Legion Post 69 of Mayville and a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church.   Ronald is survived by his children, Scott Koepsell, Melissa (DuWayne) Steger, Dawn Koepsell, and Jeremy Koepsell (Gail Tradewell); five grandchildren, Brett Steger, Hunter Steger, Cammie Steger, Kaitlin Koepsell, and Colin Koepsell; a sister, Darlene Koepsell; other relatives and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents.   The visitation was held at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville on Tuesday, March 30, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.   The funeral service followed at the church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joshua Frazee officiating. Burial was in Hochheim Cemetery in the Town of Herman, Dodge County, Wisconsin, with military honors provided by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.   Memorials may be made in Ronald A.    David Nehls passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 83 years. He was born on November 25, 1937 in Hustisford, the son of Norman and Nina (Holtz) Nehls. He was united in marriage to Ruth Reichow on May 16, 1959 at St, Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Neosho.    David served his country in the U.S. Navy and farmed for more than 40 years in the Hustisford area.   His was a life of service. He served the Town of Hustisford for a total of 22 years, as a Supervisor and later as the Town Chairman. He was involved in the naming of the Hustisford Community Library, and was a member of the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church School Board. David served on the River Valley Coop Board in Watertown for 15 years, and also served on the AMPI Board, and the Equity Livestock Board. He was a former member of the Hustisford Rod and Gun Club and the Hustisford Bowling League.   David and Ruth enjoyed polka dances with friends three times per week for years. He loved playing sheepshead with family and friends. David was a consistent spectator at the children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, even if it meant milking the cows at 3 a.m. David and Ruth spent many happy years camping after retiring and made many friends along the way.    David is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 61 years; his sons, Jeffrey (Carolyn) Nehls of Iron Ridge, Dale Nehls of Fond du Lac; his daughter, Renee Nehls of Waukesha; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Claudia Krohn of Arizona; and by his brothers, Charles (Carol) Nehls of Watertown and Stanley Nehls of Hustisford. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   Visitation was held Wednesday, March 31, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 269 N. Lake Street, Hustisford.    Funeral service followed at Church on Thursday at 11 a.m.. Rev. Jonathan Loescher is officiating. Interment was in Hustisford Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethany’s sound system would be appreciated.
