ZACH COOK The Lomira School District was one of several districts around the state who received a grant to address alcohol, drug and vaping challenges.

ZACH COOK The Lomira Village Board is currently seeking feedback on ways to increase use at the pool at Sterr Park. The board created a survey that went live last week in an effort to hear from residents and others in the area about their opinion on whether or not to continue to keep the pool open. The survey can be found on the village’s website as well as various village related Facebook pages.

ZACH COOK The Lomira School District is inviting community members to partake in a safety forum next week.“ We want to host a town hall meeting to address school safety and how our school and district addresses safety,” Lomira High School Principal Deb Janke said. “In December, some surrounding schools had some worries and we were impacted by that as well. We realized in those days how many things we do that families may not know we do.”
