Wooden plows broke easily and pricey hand tools were in short supply. Farmers could only plant a small number of available acres and profited little from their labors.

LHS Class Of 2020 Donates Legacy Gifts


KAREN ROUSE Lomira High School class of 2020 is leaving part of its legacy with area friends fighting personal cancer journeys by gifting Brandon Breitkreutz and Mr. Jerry Danner. This year’s grads are wishing LHS alumnus Brandon Breitkreutz, of the class of 2018, the best of luck. Five hundred dollars has been sent his way to help however he can use it.

It is not too late to sign up for the Brownsville Public Library Summer Reading Program, available to individuals – babies through adulthood. The program appears different this year, but it is in full swing. The new online program, Beanstack, is courtesy of the state Department of Public Instruction and made possible through an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant.
