Mary Leb – a welcome smiling face in the Fond du Lac Public Library Reference Department – retired on May 1, after working 24 years with the library. Normally a milestone such as that would have been celebrated with a staff potluck, cake and lots of laughs. But, life under COVID-19 means long-distance farewells.

KAREN ROUSE The School District of Lomira Board of Education convened for its regular meeting on Wednesday, April 8. Some members of the board participated remotely via teleconferencing with peers social distancing in the Lomira High School Commons. On site at LHS were Robert Lloyd, superintendent, Ann Larsen, district administrative assistant, Paul Schaeve, technology director, district administrators and attending public.
