The young hunter did a turkey hunt on the Wings conservation area located northwest of Kewaskum. Wings is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to natural resource preservation and education through youth and community involvement.

It is near the Village of Kewaskum, so Lt. Mark Steiner of the Kewaskum Police Department answered the call for mutual aid.
