Bud Freed By Dan Bord Henry Harrison Freed Junior, “Bud,” a charter member of Mt. Calvary Abler-Engel Legion Post 454, was born on January 1,1920, the son of Dr. Henry H. Freed (Dr. Freed was a veterinarian whose practice covered the Holyland) and Mamie Freed. Bud had only one sister, Ramona, who was born in 1911. Bud and his sister, Ramona were born in Milwaukee, moving to Calvary

16U Fondy Fusion Takes Third At NSA World Series Carissa Heisdorf, Maia Morgan, Kylie Krueger, and Kylie Zehren played with their Fondy Fusion travel softball team coached by Dan Heisdorf and assisted by Jamie Zehren played in the 31-team NSA World Series in Indiana July 23-26. The team went 9-2 in the tournament. After winning 2-1 against TR Select (Indiana) and 10-5 against Tribe 04 (Indiana)

Lady Cougars Pound North Fond du Lac, Win 23-2 The Cougar softball team defeated North Fond du Lac 23-2 Monday night. The Cougars got things going early scoring six runs in the first inning. Allysa Klahn, Shayley Narges, Kylie Krueger, and Kylie Zehren all had RBI singles. In the second inning, the Cougars put up another six spot with Krueger and Brooke Flitter getting RBI doubles.
