AIMS Fitness LLC Opens New Location in Kewaskum, Expanding Services for Parkinson’s and Elderly Community

AIMS Fitness LLC, a specialized fitness center dedicated to serving older adults and individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, is opening a new location at 7731 US Hwy 45 Unit 3, in Kewaskum. The move comes as owner and founder Jen Lenzendorf outgrew her previous studio, which was located on her personal property, and will no longer be in business.
“I am very hopeful that we will impact more people, more people will see that there’s something in their, their community that can help them live a better quality of life,” Lenzendorf said.
Founded by Lenzendorf in September 2014, AIMS Fitness began as a passion project rooted in her own health journey. Her initial foray into fitness came after a personal transformation, where she became inspired by the encouragement of others and eventually obtained her first group fitness certification in 2012. From the start, Lenzendorf focused on working with older adults, drawn to their resilience and community spirit.
A significant turning point for AIMS Fitness came in 2018, when Lenzendorf became certified as a Rock Steady Boxing coach—a program designed for people with Parkinson’s disease. Since then, she has worked with more than 60 individuals with Parkinson’s, adapting her training techniques to the unique and varied challenges the disease presents. “PD is such a challenging disease because they can have good days and bad days, good hours, bad hours. So it literally is meeting them where they’re at at that very moment,” she explained.
“It’s more than just exercise. It is, it’s quality of life for them,” Lenzendorf said.

The new Kewaskum location is designed to better serve the largest and fastest-growing age demographic in the country—adults 65 and older—as well as the growing number of individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Lenzendorf noted that her previous studio’s 900 square feet weren’t enough to accommodate the demand, especially after a rise in visibility following a local news feature. The new space, situated directly off Highway 45, will be easier for clients to find and access.
AIMS Fitness offers specialized coaching for those looking to fight back against Parkinson’s and improve their overall quality of life. The studio provides one-on-one training for elderly clients and those with Parkinson’s, as well as group classes. The affiliate Rock Steady Boxing program remains central to their offerings, but Lenzendorf also hopes to expand services in the new space, including support groups and additional class types. She is particularly focused on reaching “young onset” Parkinson’s clients—those diagnosed at age 50 or younger—who have distinct needs as they balance work, families, and disease management.
Transportation remains a barrier for some older adults, but AIMS Fitness is working to address this. In partnership with Interfaith Caregivers, a pilot program is in the works to provide van transportation for older adults who no longer drive to attend classes at the new studio.
The grand opening celebration is scheduled for Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.The event will feature free subs provided by Cousins, a bake sale, and a silent auction, with proceeds going to a new AIMS Fitness scholarship fund to help those in financial need attend classes.
Lenzendorf hopes the new, more visible location will be a beacon for those in need of community, movement, and support.
