St. Matthew Catholic Church and St. Matthew Catholic School in Campbellsport came together to support families and individuals affected by the recent tornado in Menasha.
Through the generosity of the St. Matthew parish and school communities, more than $5,900 in gift cards were collected and donated to St. Mary and St. Joseph parishes in Menasha to assist those impacted by the devastating storm.
Father Mark Jones, along with St. Matthew representatives Joan Schlaefer and Jan Ramskugler, recently delivered the gift cards to Deacon Don of St. Mary and St. Joseph. The cards will provide practical assistance to individuals and families as they work to recover and rebuild following the tornado.
During the donation, Deacon Don also stopped by to express his gratitude and collect gift cards to distribute during prayer walks in the Menasha community.
The effort reflects St. Matthew’s commitment to putting faith into action and responding to the needs of others, especially during times of hardship. The parish and school are grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make this outreach possible.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay continues to coordinate assistance for those affected by the tornado. St. Matthew Catholic Church and School encourage members of the community to continue praying for all those impacted and for the many people working to help them recover.
