In a time when anxiety and depression are affecting young people in record numbers, Girl Scouts is here to make sure your daughter feels seen, supported and cared for – right here, right now.
As a Girl Scout, she will make new friends, have fun, learn new skills, try new things, explore the great outdoors at camp and beyond, give back to the community, take a break from screens and so much more, all while being supported by adult volunteers in a safe environment.
Want a brighter, happier tomorrow for your daughter? That’s exactly what we want too. To join Girl Scouts:

The Girl Scouts of Wisconsin recently commissioned a ground-breaking report on the state of girls in Wisconsin. The 2025 State of the Wisconsin Girl Report offers a powerful, research-based snapshot of what life is like for girls across our state today. From academic achievement to emotional wellness, physical health to social belonging, this report dives deep into the most pressing issues girls face right now. The data reveals girls in Wisconsin are facing urgent, complex challenges. But there’s good news for Girl Scouts:
92% of Girl Scouts in Wisconsin say Girl Scouts is where they belong
75% say their troop leader helps them think about their future
79% say Girl Scouts makes them happier people
97% feel safe in Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts isn’t just an activity. It’s a proven support system. When girls are surrounded by mentors, peers, and safe spaces created just for them, they don’t just survive. They thrive.
Girl Scouts of Manitou is the largest girl-serving organization in the Lake Michigan western shoreline area.
