C.H.S. April Students of the Month

Congratulations to Poppy Wu, Justin Westphal, and Kaleb Nennig for being selected as Campbellsport High School “Students of the Month” in April.
Poppy Wu
“The Math Department is honored to nominate Poppy Wu as CHS April Student of the Month for Mathematics. Poppy has been successful in representing CHS in every math competition over the past few months, including two during the month of April. Poppy placed second for Geometry at the Academic Bowl and scored in the top half for all students at the UWO Math Competition. She has demonstrated her mathematical ability in both Geometry and Algebra 2 this year, and is consistently one of the top achieving students in her classes.” Submitted by Mr. Madsen
Justin Westphal
“The Social Studies Department is pleased to announce Justin Westphal as our Student of the Month for April. Justin has demonstrated outstanding effort, participation, and understanding in social studies. He consistently engages in class discussions, asks thoughtful questions, and shows a genuine interest in Human Geography. His strong mastery of geography, especially during map quizzes, has truly stood out and highlights his impressive knowledge of countries around the world. In addition to his classroom achievements, Justin thrives in a variety of extracurriculars including Forensics and Science Olympiad. He is a well-rounded and dedicated scholar. His curiosity and drive to better understand the world around him make him an excellent choice to represent Campbellsport High School as the Social Studies Student of the Month. Kaleb Nennig
“Congratulations to Kaleb Nennig on being selected as the Physical Education student of the Month for April! Kaleb always comes to class prepared and with a great attitude. He goes above and beyond the expectations in the weightroom and is a true leader by example. Congratulations, Kaleb!” Submitted by Mr. Merkes
All high school students are eligible for this honor. Students are nominated by their teachers and then chosen by department.
Teachers make their selections based upon attitude, effort, character, interest, and achievement, as exhibited in the classroom and school community. Administration, faculty, and staff are committed to developing future leaders in our community. We want to honor those who are striving each and every day to be those future leaders, who demonstrate this by their positive actions and behaviors.
