Campbellsport High School
Congratulations to Grace Walsh, Lauren Lemke, Eva Pendowski, and Maverick Grahl for being selected as Campbellsport High School “Students of the Month” in March.
Grace Walsh
“Grace has been selected as Student of the Month in English Class for her outstanding academic achievements and her dedication to problem-solving. She consistently goes above and beyond to find creative solutions to challenges, whether in the classroom or while helping her peers, or helping herself. Grace’s commitment to excellence is evident in her strong work ethic, high grades, and desire to change her routines to better serve herself. Her positive attitude and determination make her a role model for others, and I am proud to recognize her hard work and accountability.” Submitted by Mr. Elliott
Lauren Lemke
“The Science Department is pleased to recognize Lauren Lemke as our Student of the Month. Your hard work, dedication, and positive attitude set a wonderful example for your peers. Whether through your excellent academic performance, leadership by example, or kindness toward others, you embody what it means to be a model student. I look forward to your warm welcome and infectious smile, which always brightens the start of my every school day. We appreciate your initiative in stepping forward to represent biology at the Flyaway Conference Academic Bowl competition. Your commitment to the team was evident in your request for preparation materials more than a month in advance. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and we are proud to have you as part of our school community.” Submitted by Ms. Glass.
Eva Pendowski
“The FCS department would like to nominate Eva Pendowski as student of the month! Collectively, the CTE department agrees that she is very deserving as evidenced by the high achieving skill set she has demonstrated in her first two years of high school! Eva works extremely hard in both school and sports, outside of her other responsibilities. Eva is an exemplary and model student; ALWAYS turning in quality work and always using her class time efficiently and effectively; she is actively engaged in class, asks questions, and participates often. Eva also focuses on and values her classes; and demonstrates a clear, daily, appreciation for learning. These are rare attributes of other students her age. Above all, though, Eva’s personality is what sets her apart. Eva’s leadership skills are outstanding; she takes initiative in class to help lead by example; she will start class activities without prompt, and constantly offers to help in whatever way she can. Often, Eva also does these things without even being asked. Eva is super courteous and respectful, and is a kind and cooperative classmate to any peers. She will work with anyone without complaint; does her share of the work and helps others if needed. This sincere and genuine consideration for others is such a rare and admirable characteristic. Eva brings so much positivity and joy to our classes, and she has a great personality. Eva always has an optimistic perspective; she is ambitious and has a great attitude about learning. For all of these reasons, we feel she is the perfect candidate for student of the month.” Submitted by Mrs. Meyer
Maverick Grahl
“I am happy to announce that Maverick Grahl is the Spanish Department’s Student of the Month! I have been lucky to have Maverick in my class all year and this trimester he is currently taking Spanish V. Maverick is an outstanding Spanish student and he has really shown growth in his communication skills this year. Although he can be quiet and definitely doesn’t want to be the center of attention, Maverick always participates and he does so with a subtle sense of humor that I truly appreciate. He is humble, kind, intelligent, mature, responsible and an extremely hard worker. I know that I am going to get quality answers and work from Maverick because he always gives his best effort in everything he does. I am impressed that Maverick is planning on continuing his studies in Spanish in order to be a Spanish Teacher or a Spanish Translator in the future. I know that he would be an asset to any school or job that hires him and I am extremely proud of all that he has put in to get this far in our language program. Gracias por trabajar duro cada año Maverick. Yo sé que va a tener mucho éxito en el futuro.” Submitted by Mrs. Ellenbecker
