CHS National Honor Society Hosts First Fall Festival for Project Angel Hugs

Posted

On Halloween night, Campbellsport High School was alive with laughter, costumes, and community spirit as the CHS National Honor Society hosted its first Fall Festival fundraiser in support of Project Angel Hugs of Plymouth.
More than 200 community members came out to enjoy the evening, turning the school grounds into a festive area for families, students, and local organizations to come together and celebrate what makes Campbellsport so special. The event featured a trunk or treat filled with decorated cars, themed booths, fun games, face painting, ice cream, and even more treats along the way! With a movie to follow, there was something for everyone, making the night a perfect mix of fun and fall energy.
The festival was a true community effort with NHS members, local businesses, clubs, and sports teams all pitching in to make it happen. The goal went beyond just raising money; it was about showing how powerful it can be when a small town comes together to make a difference. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the Fall Festival raised $1,000 for Project Angel Hugs, a nonprofit that brings joy to children touched by cancer through monthly cards and care packages filled with gifts, toys, candy, and seasonal surprises for them and their families.
Organizing the event gave NHS students valuable hands-on experience in leadership, outreach, and service, all while supporting a meaningful cause. After such a successful first year, the group hopes to make the Fall Festival an annual tradition and grow it even bigger in the future. The night proved once again that when Campbellsport comes together, amazing things happen.
