Creekside Camp All Abilities Playground Receives $500,000 Matching Grant

Posted

The Creekside Camp All Abilities Playground has been making strong progress in its fundraising efforts. Most recently, they received a $500,000 matching grant from the Sunshine Foundation.
The grant allows for every dollar raised by December 25, 2025, to be matched, up to the amount of $500,000. The Creekside Camp All Abilities Playground has launched the Built to Belong fundraising campaign as a result.
With this new opportunity, it is expected that fundraising efforts will increase and the timeline for construction will be accelerated. Fundraising Chair Anna Cain says, “With this opportunity, we are on track to break ground in spring 2026.”
Creekside Camps’ goal for the park is to “create a safe, welcoming, and fully accessible play environment for children of all abilities” as well as to make Reigle Park more inclusive and accessible for families.
Cain said, “We are incredibly grateful for this generous grant and for all who have contributed and continue to contribute to make this playground a reality.”
