Fleurish Floral Opens Storefront in Kewaskum

Posted

Kewaskum’s Fleurish Floral, located at 119 Main St in Kewaskum, officially opened for its first day in its new storefront on February 14. Fleurish Floral offers services for weddings, funerals, events, everyday floral arrangements, and deliveries. The shop also creates artificial arrangements and sells outdoor plants during the summer months.
The shop was founded by Cassie Strasser and her aunt, Pam. Cassie has been in the floral industry for over 10 years. She said, “It has always been a dream of mine to open a flower shop.” The two first started their business out of their homes, focusing on weddings and events. Fleurish Floral officially started on May 5, 2025. Cassie said, “Our goal was to have a storefront in about 5 years. However, when the opportunity to be in the old Kewaskum Floral building came up, we couldn’t pass it up.”
Rather than positioning the shop in competition with other florists, the owners say their goal is to complement the community and help bring a hometown flower shop back to the area. Strasser said, “I’ve really learned a lot from them. While our offerings will be similar in many ways, my goal is to grow alongside the community and bring a hometown flower shop back to Kewaskum. We want to reach nearby areas that currently do not have floral service available.” As their store continues to grow, their goals are to “offer several classes throughout the year, bring a more modern design style, and provide a selection of unique gift items to help set the shop apart.”
One of their biggest accomplishments so far has been renovating the building to prepare it for opening day.“At one point, the building was all down to the studs,” the owner said. “Our families, friends and some local contractors put so much work into this remodel, and we couldn’t have done it without them.”
Being part of the local community is central to their mission. Both live in Kewaskum and have children in the local schools, making the shop’s presence in the village especially meaningful. They said, “Our main goal was to do this for Kewaskum,” the owner said. “We just want Fleurish to be here for whoever needs us.”
