Gatzke Wins Wisconsin FFA Food Service Proficiency

Posted

The 2025 winner of the Food Service Proficiency Award is Emily Gatzke of the Campbellsport FFA. This proficiency is sponsored by Section 8 Alumni & Friendly Logger.
Since 2022, Emily has been a cook and barista for 3 Sweets Bakery and Cafe in Dundee, Wisconsin. Within her cook role, Emily helps to complete seventy-five percent of the food preparation for the kitchen. She helps to make sure the food is safe and delicious through designated procedures for each product including proper cooking, plating, and sanitization. When she is not in the kitchen, Emily acts as barista preparing drinks and bakery items for customers. Through her roles, Emily has learned how to meet the needs of the customers, develop a welcoming environment, and enticing food and drinks leading to more repeat customers for the store.
Emily’s advisors are Jenna Schweitzer and Shawna Henke.
