Hodorff Wins Wisconsin FFA Dairy Production - Placement Proficiency

Posted

The 2025 winner of the Dairy Production - Placement Proficiency Award is Kaydence Hodorff of the Campbellsport FFA. This proficiency is sponsored by Four Hands Holsteins.
Kaydence is the fifth generation to work on her family’s dairy farm, Second Look Holsteins LLC. On the farm they milk about 1,200 cows and raise about 100 show calves and 150 Angus steers. Kaydence’s responsibilities include feeding calves, administering shots, treating fresh cows, and managing the Angus steers and heifers. She also assists in the maternity barn, where she helps with calving when needed, and cares for both the cow and calf after birth. Upon graduating from high school, Kaydence is now working full time for the farm, which has allowed to make her passion for animals into a career.
Kaydence’s advisors are Jenna Schweitzer and Shawna Henke.
We would like to recognize the state finalists in Dairy Production - Placement:
Second: Morgan Schoof - Waterford FFA

Third: Tysen Linder - Greenwood FFA
Fourth: Abigail Roskom - Oconto Falls FFA
Fifth: Rylee Nelson - Waupaca FFA
Hodroff will find out this summer if she is selected as one of four national finalists. If selected, Kaydence will compete at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana in November.
