Campbellsport High School is proud to announce its “Students of the Month” for the month of January. All high school students are eligible for this honor. Teachers make their selections based upon attitude, effort, character, interest, and achievements, as exhibited in the classroom and school community. Students are nominated by their teachers and then chosen by the department.
Administration, faculty, and staff are committed to developing future leaders in our community. We want to honor those who are striving each and every day to be those future leaders who demonstrate this by their positive actions and behaviors.
Congratulations to Keegan Bowe, Wolfgang Stoffel, Savannah Ksioszk, and Cali Kneevers for being selected as the CHS Students of the Month in January.
Keegan Bowe has performed at a high level in Honors English 10 despite not opting for the course himself (he was asked to switch from a large non-Honors section). He routinely turns in some of the best work in class while also working quickly; he also does not hesitate to ask questions whenever instructions or expectations are not clear. In addition, Keegan is also in my study hall and typically stays focused on completing work despite occasional distractions. Statement submitted by Mr. Gilhaus.
Wolfgang Stoffel is undeniably deserving of receiving Student of the Month in Science. He consistently completes his biology work at a high level, demonstrating strong understanding and attention to detail. Wolfgang is extremely respectful, helpful, and dependable in the classroom. When others are hesitant to participate, he willingly steps up to lead discussions and push the class toward deeper thinking. In addition, he has volunteered his time to tutor classmates, showing both leadership and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed. I am truly honored to have Wolfgang as a student and to nominate him for Student of the Month. Statement submitted by Mrs. Glass.
The CTE Department is proud to nominate Savannah for Student of the Month. Throughout the year, Savannah Ksioszk has been an outstanding student in Animal Science, consistently producing high-quality work and pushing herself beyond what is required. She takes pride in her learning and approaches every assignment with dedication, curiosity, and a strong work ethic. In addition to her academic excellence, Savannah is always willing to step up and help in the animal lab. Whether it is feeding livestock at the end of the day, haltering animals so classmates can measure them, or assisting with daily care, Savannah can always be counted on. She sees what needs to be done and takes initiative without being asked. Savannah is a positive role model for her peers and truly represents what it means to be a high-achieving CTE student. Her commitment to learning, responsibility in the lab, and willingness to support others make her highly deserving of this recognition. Statement submitted by Ms. Henke.
I am happy to announce that Cali Kneevers is the Spanish Department Student of the Month! Cali is a hard worker and is always on top of her schoolwork. She is doing very well reading Don Quijote de la Mancha, and she asks lots of great questions to ensure she fully understands what she is reading. She has a positive attitude towards learning, and we can always count on her to have great answers to our questions of the day! Keep up the good work, Cali.
