Kewaskum’s Kingston Grisolono Earns East Central Player of the Year

Posted

Kingston Grisolono was named the East Central Conference Player of the Year for Kewaskum to wrap his sophomore season.
“I started playing baseball in kindergarten,” Kingston Grisolono said.
“One of my favorite baseball memories was when I was in fourth grade, I swung at the first pitch given to me during a game that was in extra innings for a walk-off winning run because I had to go to the bathroom,” said Grisolono. “Another favorite memory was when I was playing with the tribe, and I robbed a player from hitting a home run and turned it into a triple play.”
“Baseball is important to me because it is a reflection of life with having both the ups and downs, but hard work and dedication pay off,” said Grisolono. “My biggest influences are all my current and past coaches, especially my dad.”

“My future goal in baseball is to continue to have my teammates and me improve so we can play at the next level.”
“Kingston is a special player because he can dominate in all areas of the game and has great instincts for a kid his age, as only being a sophomore,” said Head Coach Mike Heisdorf. “As an outfielder, he is one of the best around, with him making the hard plays look easy as it comes naturally for him, making diving plays and throwing runners out.”
“As a hitter, he has a good approach at the plate and has the power to drive the ball in the gaps and out of the park. when he is on base, he is a threat to run, and as a pitcher with a 7-0 record,” said Heisdorf. “He is a special player that you want to watch play, and I enjoy every opportunity I get to see him play, with the passion he has for a game he and I love.”
