Kewaskum’s Macy Sabish is a WFSCA Softball All-Star

Macy Sabish played one last high school softball game on June 17 at the WFSCA all-star game in Wisconsin Dells.
When did you start playing softball?
“I started playing softball when I was eight years old.” said Macy Sabish.
What were your favorite softball moments in your career?

“I am happy with any moment I get to spend time on the field, but if I had to pick my favorite, it would be anytime I get to share the field with my little sister, Maddyn,” said Sabish. “She is my best friend, and getting to share the field with her is worth more than any home run or no-hitter I could have!”
Why is softball important to you?
“Softball is important to me because it has taught me many life lessons like being mentally tough and the value of hard work,” said Sabish. “Softball has also given me my best friends.”
Who have been the biggest influences on you during your softball career?
“My biggest influences are my parents, with my dad coaching me from day one with countless hours on buckets catching or behind nets pitching front toss. My mom can always be found right behind the plate cheering me on every inning, and she never misses a game,” said Sabish. “They both have been there to celebrate my biggest wins, comforted me during the tough losses, and given me the tough love when I needed to bounce back and work harder.”

Two-time first team all-conference pitcher in 2024 and 2025
Two-time second-team all-conference pitcher in 2022 and 2023
East Central Conference Player of the Year in 2024
First team All-District in 2024

What are your future plans in softball?
“I am going to Rock Valley College in Rockford, Illinois, to play college softball,” said Sabish.
