Meet the New Reporter, Courtney Duren

The Campbellsport News/Kewaskum Statesman staff are pleased to introduce the papers’ newest reporter: Courtney Duren.
A Kewaskum native, Duren, recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations, with a minor in Marketing, from Marian University in December 2024. She is also a full-time marketing specialist at Metalcraft in Mayville, bringing a strong background in marketing and social media to our newsroom. Her expertise comes at a crucial time as we continue to strengthen our online presence and engage with our readers more effectively.
“We’ve been facing challenges in covering the Campbellsport and Kewaskum communities as consistently as we’d like over the past year due to staff shortages,” said Editor Clarice Case. “We’re excited to have Courtney join us to help us cover more local stories and fill in those gaps.
Duren’s initial coverage expectations will include local government meetings, school events, and a variety of community news across Campbellsport and Kewaskum.
