Village of Campbellsport Board Notes from May 11
Board Matters:
•Tori Fechter was sworn in as the new clerk of the Village of Campbellsport.
“We are excited to have Tori on board and look forward to the knowledge, dedication, and positive energy she brings to our team and community,” said Campbellsport Village Administrator Padrick Dunn. “The Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the Village, and we are confident Tori will be a great asset as we continue to serve our residents.”
•5-11-2026 Resolution given to Lois and Ronnie Reese has demonstrated exceptional dedication, generosity, and commitment to the Village of Campbellsport and
WHEREAS, their contributions have had a meaningful and lasting impact on the community, helping to shape its character, strengthen its future, and inspire residents; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Campbellsport wishes to formally recognize and express its sincere appreciation for their years of service and positive influence;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Board of the Village of Campbellsport, that Lois and Ronnie Reese are hereby honored and recognized with deep gratitude for their outstanding service to the community; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution serves as a lasting tribute to their dedication and the enduring impact they have made on generations of residents.
•President Dornbrook acknowledged National Police Week, May 11through May 15, and thanked Chief Dowland and the Campbellsport Officers for their service.
•Police Department, Chief Dowland reported on alcohol violations at two establishments in the Village of Campbellsport.
•Trustee Schwai announced the CAA Softball Tournament will be hosted May 16-17
•Discussion on the committee appointments for the organizational meeting that was supposed to take place in April, 2026. Motion Trustee Schwai, seconded by Trustee Jarmuz, to elect Trustee Randy Zielieke as Village Vice President. Voice Vote, motion carried unanimously. Recommendation was to appoint Kevin Soyk as plan commission member, Trustee Janet Hafemann as Fire Department Liaison, Trustee Marianne Jarmuz as Library Liaison, and Trustee Matt Schwai as CAA Liaison.
•Motion by Trustee Schwai, seconded by Trustee Zielieke, to go into close session at 6:28 pm pursuant to State Statute 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of a public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility regarding personnel update.
•Motion to reconvene into open session at 7:00 pm by Trustee Gellings, seconded by Trustee Jarmuz. Voice vote, motion carried unanimously.
•Motion by Trustee Zielieke, seconded by Trustee Jarmuz to proceed with recruitment for a Treasurer/Deputy Clerk. Voice vote, motion carried unanimously.
