Posted

The Village of Kewaskum swore in two employees for leadership roles in the month of October. The Kewaskum Police Department added a Sergeant position, and the Kewaskum Fire Department added a full-time Captain. These two roles are new for the Village of Kewaskum, but both candidates that were selected were internal promotions.
Fire Chief Mark Groeschel swore in Jeff Beuchel for Kewaskum Fire Department’s full-time Captain position on October 6. He has served the Village of Kewaskum and the surrounding areas for 20 years, starting on the department in January 2005. During the pinning ceremony, Chief Mark Groeschel said, “We don’t just recognize a promotion, we celebrate a legacy in the making. Becoming a full-time captain is more than a title; it’s a call to lead with courage, integrity, and heart. You’ve earned this not just through skill, but through trust, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to your team and community.” Jeff’s wife, Melissa Beuchel, gave him his pin during the pinning ceremony.
Police Chief Thomas Bishop swore in Jeremy Haske to Sergeant/Detective. According to the Police Department, “Haske has always been a leader within our department. His dedication, integrity, and genuine care for our community make him a great example of what it means to serve. We’re confident that in his new role, he’ll continue to lead with integrity and make a lasting impact on our department and community.”
