William “Bill” Randy Vollmer
William “Bill” Randy Vollmer (Troll), loving husband, cherished father and wonderful grandfather, passed away unexpectedly June 28, 2022.
Bill was born January 18, 1955, in Milwaukee, to parents William and Jane Vollmer.
On September 15, 1979, he married Julie Cornelius and spent 42 loving years together. Bill and Julie moved their little family to Iron Ridge in 1993. They watched their little family grow, which brought Bill much happiness and joy. Bill loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was very prideful of his family and loved to take any opportunity to have a get together. He was especially loving with his grandchildren and often felt they brought out the best in him. He also brought out the best in them by teaching them some of his many skills.
Bill had many interests and hidden talents. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving, dancing and rocking out to various genres of music. Bill always spoke his mind and sometimes came off too tough, but deeply, he loved helping people. He was our Mr. Fix it, our teacher and dear friend. If he considered you a friend, you were family. That was Bill, a badass with a big heart. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Bill is survived by his wife, Julie; daughters, Kristina (Jesse), Julia (Jory), Carol; grandchildren, Kasey (Teeghun), Jayden, Anton, Ciarran “Kenny” (John), Alizandria (Ashton), Aryssa, Julian; and great-grandchildren, Kora and Amira. He is further survived by his brothers, John (Dottie), Tom (Mary), Rick (Cheryl), Ronnie (Jody), Tony (Patti), Terry (Trisha), Allen (Tina), and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jane Vollmer; sister, Carol; and brothers, Jimmy, Randy and Rodger.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Sunday, July 31, at Riverside Park, 916 Labaree St., Watertown, WI 53098, starting around 2:30 p.m. Dedication around 3:30 p.m. Meal and socializing to follow. CASUAL ATTIRE preferred.
