David G. Feucht
David G. Feucht, 80, of Eagar, AZ, formerly of Mayville, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021, at home. His wife Christine was with him.
David was born in Fond du Lac, to Alexander and Veronica (Pionkoske) Feucht on November 20, 1940.
He graduated from Mayville High School in 1959. He earned Green Beret status in the U.S. Army during the 1960s. He received a bachelor’s degree from Oshkosh State University and a graduate degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He worked in several jobs over the years. These included work as a mechanic, teamster, teacher, lumber company worker and finally with the United States Forest Service.
Dave was a kind, generous, smart and private man who thought of others before himself.
Dave married Christine Hussli in 1969. They spent most of their married life together in Idaho and Arizona.
He is survived by his wife, Chris; siblings, Alex (Kuan) Feucht of Henderson, NV, Jean (Art) Schwarze of Lexington, NE and Geri (Tim Bachhuber) Feucht of Mayville; brother-in-law, Dennis (Janet) Hussli of Mayville; many nieces, nephews and cousins and his aunt, Izzy Guse of Lomira.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Vernie and his brother, Bill Feucht, all of Mayville. He was also preceded by his parents-in-law, Andy and Anne (Schnaderbeck) Hussli of Mayville and sister- and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Bob Brandl of Ripon.
No funeral or memorial services are scheduled.
