Walter E. Rekowski Jr.

Walter E. Rekowski Jr., 66, of Lomira, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh.
He was born on August 24, 1955, in Greenfield, a son of Walter and Geraldine Rekowski (Orne). Walter was a graduate of Greenfield High School.
He worked as a service engineer fixing printing presses for IMC America.
Walter enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to rallies, fixing things, and taking his grandchildren out for ice cream.
Walter is survived by his children, Jimmy (Charity) Rekowski, Mike Holiday, Joe Moench, Danny Dunaway, and Terri Alexander; 11 grandchildren; and brothers, Scott (Carol) Rekowski, Ronnie Rekowski, and Mike Rekowski. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his partner, Ellen Dunaway; son, Bobby Dunaway, and many siblings.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 24, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac, WI 54935. Memorial service will begin at 2 p.m.
Walter’s family would like to thank all of those who cared for him in his last months.
