Miles L. Buggs, 59, of Mayville en­tered into eter­nal life on Tues­day May 10, 2022.
Miles was born the son of Howard and Agnes (Bor­chardt) Buggs on Feb­ru­ary 15, 1963, in Mil­wau­kee. He hon­or­ably served his coun­try in the Navy, serv­ing from Au­gust 1981 until Au­gust 1984.
Miles was united in mar­riage to Mary Feier­stein on May 7, 1982, in Mil­wau­kee.
He loved his work as an elec­tri­cian.
Miles was an ac­tive mem­ber of Chris­t­ian Life Fel­low­ship and vol­un­teered his skills as an elec­tri­cian for the church and was also very ac­tive with the Mayville Food Pantry.
In his spare time, Miles en­joyed ‘junk­ing’ and col­lect­ing. Along­side his wife and fam­ily, they en­joyed travel and vis­ited many places such as Hawaii, Alaska, and Mex­ico.
Miles is sur­vived by his wife, Mary of Mayville; his fa­ther, Howard Buggs of Mil­wau­kee; his chil­dren, Jacque­line (Nick Derus) Buggs of Mayville, Theresa (Josh) Smith of Mayville, and Daniel (An­drea) Buggs of Juneau; his grand­chil­dren, Riley, George, Alexan­der, Elias, Theodore, and Hadas­sah; his brother, Scott Buggs of Mil­wau­kee; his nephew, Alan (Lisa John­son) Buggs of Mil­wau­kee. He is fur­ther sur­vived by other rel­a­tives and friends.
He was pre­ceded in death by his mother, Agnes.
A fu­neral ser­vice for Miles was held on Fri­day, May 13, at 3 p.m. at Chris­t­ian Life Fel­low­ship in Mayville with Pas­tor Matt Lewandowski of­fi­ci­at­ing. Vis­i­ta­tion will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. until the time of the ser­vice at the church. Mil­i­tary hon­ors will be con­ducted by the Mayville Amer­i­can Le­gion Post #69. A con­tin­ued cel­e­bra­tion of Miles’ life will fol­low the ser­vice with food and fel­low­ship.
The fam­ily is es­pe­cially ap­pre­cia­tive of the crew of the Mayville Food Pantry, home away from home for Miles. A bet­ter sec­ond fam­ily could never be found!
