Miles L. Buggs
Miles L. Buggs, 59, of Mayville entered into eternal life on Tuesday May 10, 2022.
Miles was born the son of Howard and Agnes (Borchardt) Buggs on February 15, 1963, in Milwaukee. He honorably served his country in the Navy, serving from August 1981 until August 1984.
Miles was united in marriage to Mary Feierstein on May 7, 1982, in Milwaukee.
He loved his work as an electrician.
Miles was an active member of Christian Life Fellowship and volunteered his skills as an electrician for the church and was also very active with the Mayville Food Pantry.
In his spare time, Miles enjoyed ‘junking’ and collecting. Alongside his wife and family, they enjoyed travel and visited many places such as Hawaii, Alaska, and Mexico.
Miles is survived by his wife, Mary of Mayville; his father, Howard Buggs of Milwaukee; his children, Jacqueline (Nick Derus) Buggs of Mayville, Theresa (Josh) Smith of Mayville, and Daniel (Andrea) Buggs of Juneau; his grandchildren, Riley, George, Alexander, Elias, Theodore, and Hadassah; his brother, Scott Buggs of Milwaukee; his nephew, Alan (Lisa Johnson) Buggs of Milwaukee. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes.
A funeral service for Miles was held on Friday, May 13, at 3 p.m. at Christian Life Fellowship in Mayville with Pastor Matt Lewandowski officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Military honors will be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #69. A continued celebration of Miles’ life will follow the service with food and fellowship.
The family is especially appreciative of the crew of the Mayville Food Pantry, home away from home for Miles. A better second family could never be found!
