William L. Cotter

William L. Cotter, 71, of Mayville, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2022, at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.
William was born the son of Leland and Rose (Krieser) Cotter on February 26, 1951, in Beaver Dam.
He was a graduate of Mayville High School and a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville.
William worked in metal fabrication and was the proud owner of B&C Lawn Care.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his favorite team, the Milwaukee Brewers.
William is survived by his children, Tanya (Dean) Wells of Brownsville; Tracy (DJ) Legas of Mayville; and Brock (Kelly) Cotter of Watertown. He is also survived by his siblings, Rick (Deanne) Cotter of WA and Carol (Neil) Wilke of Baraboo. William is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Chris.
A private family graveside memorial will be held on Thursday, July 28. Inurnment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville.
