Mary Jo Schalinske

Mary Jo Schalinske, 59, died unexpectedly on February 12, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison with family member at her side.
She was the daughter of Edward and Carol (Schulz) Schalinske and was born on May 16, 1960.
Jo graduated from Horicon High School Class of 1978. She then attended UW-Oshkosh where she received her degree in radio/tv and broadcasting. Jo worked and resided in Dixon, IL, and transferred to Madison until the time of her death.
She was an avid baseball player and enjoyed all sports.
Mary Jo is survived by her mother, stepfather, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
A private family celebration of Mary Jo’s life will be held in April.
