Campbellsport Boys Basketball Hosts Springs on Parents Night

On January 28, Campbellsport boys basketball lost 68-44 to Springs in their home, conference game on parents’ night.
Springs (13-4, 7-1) was ahead 7-4 over Campbellsport (4-13, 2-6) after Jace Goebel scored his second basket of the game.
The Ledgers went on a 22-6 scoring stretch before Noah Bobb hit back-to-back three-pointers in the last minute of the first half to put the halftime score at 29-16, with Springs in the lead.
Springs scored the first seven points of the second half to extend their lead to 36-16 when the Cougars went on their own 13-3 scoring run, featuring three-pointers from Bobb, Goebel, and Trent Schladweiler from their offense, to close the gap on Springs to 39-29.

Campbellsport got a three-pointer from Owen Bong to bring the Cougars within 13 points with a score of 49-36 before Springs closed out the rest of the game in their 68-44 conference victory.
“We had some really good moments on the defensive end where the guys gave up their bodies. I am proud of that effort,” said Head Coach Ethan Elliott.
Noah Bobb led the Cougars with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Flyway matchup.
Campbellsport traveled to Lomira on February 4 and travels to Omro on February 7 with the game time scheduled for 7 p.m.
