On March 20, the Campbellsport boys’ track team traveled to the UW-Oshkosh Boys’ Track Invitational to start their 2025 season.
Campbellsport finished in fourth place with 42 points in the Division 2 competition at the Invitational.
The Cougars were led by first-place finishes from Logan Nolan in the 800 meters and Caleb Siebauer in the 3200m.
“The performance of the night was definitely Logan’s victory in the 800m with it being the first time he broke the two-minute mark in the 800 and he is only 1.6 seconds off Rick Martiny’s school record from 1973,” said Head Coach Derek Toshner. “We placed fourth which was very surprising since it is early in the season.”
Campbellsport track will travel back to UW-Oshkosh when the girls’ team competes on April 1 at 4:45 p.m. The Cougars will be sending athletes to Indoor State at UW-Whitewater on April 5.
