On June 4, Campbellsport girls soccer lost 10-0 to the number one seed Grafton on the road in the second round of the soccer tournament, ending the Cougars’ season with a record of 6-13.

Final
On June 2, Campbellsport girls soccer beat Pius XI 3-2 in overtime on the road in the first round of the WIAA Division 3 Girls Soccer Tournament to advance to the second round.
The game was tied 0-0 at halftime before the Cougars broke the tie in the second half when Madeline Kester dropped the ball from the top of the 18-yard box to Alayna McKee, who scored to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead.
“We were dominating possession in the first half, ripping off shots, but couldn’t find the back of the net,” said Head Coach Kalista Hodroff.
The game was tied at one when Kester dropped the ball to Ireland Sthamman, who perfectly placed the ball, which hit the top of the crossbar and bounced into the goal, giving the Cougars the lead back at 2-1.
Pius scored in the final minutes of regulation to tie the game at two, forcing the game into overtime.
Stahmann passed to Reese Uelmen to score the game-winner in overtime, sending the Cougars home with a 3-2 overtime win
“In the first half of overtime, we once again held possession but couldn’t find the back of the net, but in the second half of overtime, we came back with fury to win our first playoff game in years for the program,” said Hodroff.
