Campbellsport Track Team Sending Three Athletes to State

On May 29, the Campbellsport track team had eight athletes compete at the WIAA Division 2 Sectional Track Meet at Kewaskum High School.
Garrett Pickering was the Sectional Champion in the 3200m by breaking his own school record with a time of 9:28 to qualify for state for the second consecutive season in the 3200m.
Pickering also qualified in the 1600m with a second-place finish for the Cougars.
Seamus Toshner in second and Noah Bobb in fourth qualified for the State meet in the 300m hurdles event for Campbellsport.

At Grafton Regional
On May 26, the Campbellsport boys and girls track teams competed in the WIAA Division 2 Regionals Track Meet at Grafton High School.
Lexi Diels qualified for sectionals in the discus and shot put to lead the girls team for the Cougars.
Noah Bobb qualified in three events in the triple jump, 300m hurdles, and 4x400 relay, and Caleb Siebauer was the regional champion in the 3200m and qualified for sectionals in the 1600m.
Seamus Toshner was the regional champion in the 300m hurdles and qualified for sectionals with the Cougars’ 4x400 relay team.
Garrett Pickering also qualified in two events for sectionals in the 1600m and 3200m for the Campbellsport boys team.
Campbellsport’s Garrett Pickering, Noah Bobb, and Seamus Toshner will travel to UW-LaCrosse to compete in the WIAA State Track & Field Competition starting on June 5 and finishing on June 6.
