My USA travel team recently traveled to Spain to explore the city and compete in the Euro Youth Basketball Cup.
We started with three days of practice before heading straight into a three-day tournament. In our first three games, we beat Ireland 71-35, another Irish team 64-34 and Switzerland 63-28.
Those games got us to the championship on Sunday. The championship game was against France, which made us nervous because they blew out a team by 80 when we watched. In our game, we fought until the last second but fell just short, 48-43, after leading by 15.
Touring the city and meeting people from all around the world was so cool and bringing home a silver is an unforgettable achievement.
