Campbellsport’s Pickering Breaks 3200m School Record to Finish on Podium

On June 5-6, Campbellsport track members Seamus Toshner, Garrett Pickering, and Noah Bobb competed in the WIAA Division 2 Track & Field State Meet at UW-La Crosse. Toshner and Bobb were able to finish their 300m hurdles event on Friday before the state meet went into a weather delay due to lightning and thunderstorms in the area, pushing Pickering’s 3200m to Saturday. It was well worth the wait for Pickering as he broke his own school record in the 3200m with a time of 9:17 to finish on the State Podium with a fifth-place finish.
