Lomira scored six straight points before Behn found Jackson Corbin with a pass for a basket for Kewaskum to bring the Lions’ lead under ten points with the score of 34-25.

The Lions went to score eight consecutive points before the Indians got an offensive rebound from Chase Cook and a Charlie Gambino three-pointer to close the gap to 42-30.

After a Behn layup to make the score 44-32, Lomira proceeded to go on another eight-point scoring run before Behn hit a pull-up three-pointer for the Indians to put the game score at 52-35 with the Lions holding the 17-point lead.

Kewaskum wasn’t able to get any closer in the non-conference matchup with Lomira pulling away with a 69-45 victory.

“We fought hard in the first half and competed against another very good basketball team,” said Head Coach Tyler Enright. “We are hoping to get healthy soon and we feel like we will be heading into the second half of our season feeling battle-tested.”

Zach Behn led Kewaskum with 24 points on the evening.

Kewaskum boys basketball hosts Waupun on January 9 at 7:15 p.m.
