Karen D. Sass, 78, of Eden, died on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at her residence, with her loving husband and her pet by her side.
She was born on March 12, 1947, in Milwaukee, the daughter of William and Eugenia Tetzlaff Kieckbusch.
On May 21, 1983, she married David G. Sass in Fond du Lac.
Karen worked in the banking business and was an assistant manager at Page Jewelry in Fond du Lac.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Sass of Eden; her brother, William (Melissa) Kieckbusch of Fond du Lac; her sisters, Nancy Price and Lisa (Ron) Semenas, both of Fond du Lac; half-brother, William (Barb) Kieckbusch of Milwaukee; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her beloved niece, Ariel Sass of Eden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Chuck Price; nephew, Adam Semenas; niece, Jennifer Ayers; and “her puppy,” Chris.
VISITATION: The family will greet friends and relatives from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place.
