Kewaskum Football Season Preview
Head Coach: Jeff Rondorf
2025 Season: 1-8 (Glacier Trails Conference)
“Our biggest strength is the amount of returning players that are juniors and seniors who gained valuable playing time on varsity the past two years when they were freshmen and sophomores,” said Kewaskum Head Coach Jeff Rondorf
“On offense, our senior QB Eli Ogi is back and senior Anthony Coleman, who was lost last season before our first game due to a collarbone injury, is looking great on both offense and defense,” said Rondorf. “Our receiver group is talented”
“We return 9 starters who are much improved from a year ago,” said Rondorf. This is their second year in my offensive system, which should lead to a better running game and a more balanced attack.
“The offensive and defensive line will be much improved this season after a good offseason weight room commitment,” said Rondorf.
“On defense, we return eight starters who are athletic and give us the versatility to defend multiple offensive sets,” said Rondorf.
“Our conference is tough because we add Grafton, the defending D3 state champion and Nicolet is a D2 school with many returning athletes, said Rondorf. “Both West Bend schools have a history of being really good and Plymouth, Port Washington, and KML will be good as usual.”
“We open up on the road at Luxemburg Casco, who is consistently a playoff team and they return a good number of starters, which will be a great test for us,” said Rondorf. “Week 2 we host Campbellsport, who will be good again this year and with this rivalry game we will get their best effort.”
“Week 3 we go to West Bend West, who is coming off a playoff appearance and return some very talented players,” said Rondorf.
“Our goal is to make the playoffs and to do this, we have to get off to a good start against some very good opponents,” said Rondorf.
Kewaskum will open the 2026 season Friday, Aug. 14, at 9 a.m., with a preseason scrimmage on the road at Slinger. The Indians will then begin the regular season on the road Friday, Aug. 21, at Luxemburg-Casco, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
