The Kewaskum girls’ volleyball team won their last regular-season game against the Plymouth Panthers on Tuesday, Oct. 14. They won with an overall score of 3-0. The Panthers have an overall record of 14-19 and a conference record of 1-5. The Indians have an overall record of 18-17 and a conference record of 4-2.
The Indians had a strong start to the game with a winning score of 25-18. Alayna Lambrecht (Sr) fed off the energy from senior night and was able to get eight kills. She had 23 attempts throughout the entirety of the match. Izzy Boyoung (Fr) had 10 kills throughout the match with 19 attempts. Kewaskum was able to build off their win in the first set and beat Plymouth in the second set 25-12. Kewaskum had strong defense during the match with a team total of 45 digs. Milli Kreif (Jr) had 10 digs, and Morgan Vetter (Jr) had seven digs. Kewaskum ended the match with a third-set win 25-18. They had strong serving throughout the match with 18 aces from the team. Kreif had five, and Ruth Sadownikow (So) had four.
Kewaskum received a first-round bye for playoffs and will have their first playoff match in the second round on Thursday, Oct. 23 at home.
